The episode begins with Bishu asking Ishaan whether he should arrange a separate room for Nayanika. Ishaan immediately understands that Bishu is still angry with Nayanika and has not forgiven her for what happened.
Bishu asks Ishaan whether he has forgiven Nayanika. Ishaan explains that his reasons are different. Bishu says that after everything that happened, he no longer trusts people easily.
Ishaan tells him that sometimes circumstances force a person to do things they would normally never do. Bishu points out that Ishaan does not show the same understanding towards his mother. Ishaan refuses to discuss his mother, but Bishu questions why he has compassion for everyone except her.
Ishaan asks Bishu why he has so much sympathy for his mother. Bishu says there is a reason and reminds Ishaan that he has caused his mother a lot of pain. He reveals that before dying, he only wanted to see Ishaan happy.
Ishaan assures Bishu that he is fine. However, Bishu feels that Ishaan is being naive by allowing Nayanika back into his life. Ishaan admits that he genuinely loved Nayanika. Bishu tells him to do whatever he feels is right.
Ishaan then reminds Bishu that he never felt the absence of his father because Bishu was always there for him. He knows that Bishu continues to stay by his side because he genuinely loves him.
Meanwhile, Shreya suggests celebrating Janmashtami just like they do every year. Rusha, however, is clearly upset. She questions why nobody bothered to find out where Nayanika was and says even Ujjaini has become selfish.
Indrani tells Rusha that she does not have to take responsibility for the celebrations if she does not want to. Shreya then remarks that Nayanika chose to live with her boyfriend, so there is no reason for the family to feel sad about her.
Rusha asks Shreya to stop making such ridiculous comments. Shreya argues that Nayanika did not think about her own daughter, so the family should not feel sorry for her.
Rusha refuses to take responsibility for the Janmashtami celebration. Indrani tells her to leave the house if she does not want to participate. Rusha says she has no problem with leaving.
Shreya is shocked by Rusha’s words. Rusha points out that Shreya is comfortably living in the house while others are suffering. Jaya asks Rusha not to talk about separating from the family.
Rusha insists that the family should have supported Nayanika. Shreya warns her not to speak this way, otherwise the Goddess Lakshmi of the house may leave. Rusha gives a sharp reply, saying that Nayanika was actually the Lakshmi of the house and Ujjaini needs to realise that she made a mistake.
Meanwhile, Nayanika arrives at Ishaan’s house. Bishu goes to get some juice for her, leaving Ishaan and Nayanika alone.
Ishaan asks Nayanika what she wanted to discuss with him. Nayanika reveals that she has left her job and has decided to stay in Mumbai permanently.
Ishaan then asks about the man she was speaking to at Riverside. Nayanika explains that he is her brother’s friend.
Ishaan remains curious about Nayanika’s sudden decisions. Then Nayanika drops a shocking revelation. She tells Ishaan that she is going to become the mother of his child.
Ishaan is left completely stunned by Nayanika’s revelation, bringing the episode to a dramatic end.
