The episode begins with Ujjaini questioning Nayanika about the patient she treated. Nayanika reminds her that the breaking news has already revealed everything. She says that as a doctor, just like Ujjaini and her mother, she cannot refuse to treat someone who needs medical attention.
Ujjaini questions why Nayanika went to the hospital twice. Nayanika says she is exhausted and has to return to the hospital again. Ujjaini asks her to take leave until Ishaan is discharged, arguing that Ishaan is wealthy enough to receive treatment at any hospital.
Nayanika firmly refuses. She says she has already changed important decisions in her personal life because of Ujjaini, but she will not compromise her professional responsibilities. She also reminds Ujjaini that she has responsibilities toward her education expenses.
Grandpa supports Nayanika and says that she is right. Indrani taunts her, saying Ishaan could have chosen any hospital in the city but somehow ended up at Nayanika’s hospital. Shreya brings up the viral photograph of Nayanika and Ishaan, while Nayanika makes it clear that she does not care about the rumours.
Jaya says the entire situation started because of the sindoor incident. Nayanika reminds Jaya that she had already made a promise to Ujjaini. Ujjaini accuses her of breaking that promise.
Nayanika explains that she could not ignore her duty as a doctor. Ujjaini argues that she only failed to avoid it because the patient happened to be Ishaan. Nayanika calmly tells her that Ujjaini is her priority, but she cannot allow anyone to come between her and her professional duties. She then walks away.
Ishaan Wants to See Nayanika
At the hospital, Ishaan murmurs Nayanika’s name while sleeping. In his dream, he tries to fill Nayanika’s hairline with sindoor but fails. Nayanika appears in his dream and tells him that their love has been lost. Ishaan suddenly wakes up in shock.
Later, Ishaan asks Sunidhi about Nayanika. Sunidhi tells him that Nayanika has already left for home and that Ishaan will soon be taken into the operation theatre for his next surgery.
Ishaan desperately wants to meet Nayanika before the surgery. However, Sunidhi explains that there is very little time because Dr. Ray also has to prepare for the procedure.
Meanwhile, Maria asks Dr. Ray whether Ishaan can be shifted to a hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Ray says she can take him wherever she wants after signing the required form, but the responsibility for anything that happens during the journey will then be hers.
Dr. Ray defends his hospital, saying that although it may not be the biggest hospital, it has highly qualified doctors.
Maria then asks why Nayanika had travelled to Mumbai for her own treatment. Dr. Ray explains that it was Nayanika’s personal choice.
Maria asks whether Nayanika will assist him during Ishaan’s second surgery. Dr. Ray says it would actually be beneficial because Nayanika performed Ishaan’s ear surgery. Maria immediately asks him not to involve Nayanika.
Dr. Ray tells Maria that she appears to have misunderstood Nayanika. He makes it clear that the final decision is his and walks away.
He then calls Nayanika and asks her to come to the hospital and assist him in the operation.
Ujjaini Opposes Nayanika
Nayanika prepares to leave for the hospital. Ujjaini stops her and says that if Nayanika chooses to go, she should consider their relationship finished.
Later, Shisho meets Ujjaini. She explains everything that has happened. Shisho advises her to be more considerate and reveals that he saw Nayanika leaving the house.
Ujjaini immediately asks where Nayanika went. Shisho says that Nayanika may have gone out for some personal work.
Meanwhile, Shreya questions Nayanika about where she went. Nayanika replies that she went to perform a puja.
Shreya finds it suspicious that Nayanika suddenly decided to perform a puja and asks whom she prayed for. Indrani goes further and calls Nayanika a liar.
Nayanika becomes upset and says she does not deserve to be treated this way. Jaya insists that she still has not answered the question.
Finally, Nayanika reveals that she performed the puja for Ishaan.
Shreya immediately asks whether Ujjaini knows about it. Nayanika says they can tell Ujjaini themselves. She then firmly warns everyone to stop troubling her, making it clear that she will not allow their accusations to interfere with her decisions or her duties.
