The episode begins with Ramgopal performing the kanyadaan ritual for Aparajita and Rakshit. Rashmi then ties the gadhbandhan, and the priest asks the couple to stand up for the pheras.
The priest explains that Aparajita will walk behind Rakshit during the first four pheras. However, Rakshit disagrees and says that Aparajita is his life partner, not his shadow. He insists that they should walk together.
The priest praises Rakshit for his thoughts, leaving everyone smiling.
Aparajita then tells Rakshit that they should never hide anything from each other. Rakshit jokingly says that small lies should be allowed because he may sometimes want to surprise her.
Aparajita agrees and says that surprises are allowed. They then begin taking the pheras together.
Meanwhile, Aradhya and Vivaan are also taking their pheras. Malti starts wondering where her family members have gone. Sheela also notices that Mohit and Arvind are missing.
Soon, Malti receives a photograph of Aparajita and Rakshit’s wedding. The picture has been sent by Ramgopal.
Sheela notices the photo and asks Sudha to look at Malti’s phone. Sudha is stunned when she sees Aparajita and Rakshit together.
She questions how this could have happened when Aparajita had agreed to the condition. Sudha then says that Malti knew everything.
Malti immediately clarifies that she herself has only just learned about the marriage.
Sudha refuses to believe her. She feels that Malti’s family has betrayed her and walks away from the ceremony.
Vivaan is about to follow Sudha, but Malti stops him. The priest reminds Vivaan that he cannot leave the marriage mandap until all the rituals are completed.
Malti asks Vivaan to continue the ceremony, while she silently wonders what God is trying to do.
At the temple, Aparajita tells Rakshit that no matter what happens, they will never leave each other’s side.

Aradhya is left hurt and begins thinking that nobody attended her wedding because of Aparajita.
At the temple, Rakshit finally ties the nuptial thread around Aparajita’s neck and fills her hairline with vermillion.
The priest then asks the newly married couple to take the elders’ blessings.
Rakshit and Aparajita approach Sudha to seek her blessings.
However, Sudha steps back and refuses to bless them.
Without saying anything, she turns around and leaves.
The episode ends with Aparajita and Rakshit facing Sudha’s silent rejection immediately after their marriage.
