The episode begins with Roshni requesting Renuka and Tejas to accept her back into their family. She earnestly hopes for another chance, but Renuka refuses to continue the conversation. Tejas also stands firm and makes it clear that he has moved on. When he hands over his engagement invitation, it deeply hurts Roshni. Tejas tells her that he has decided to leave the past behind and start a new life with Harini. His words leave Roshni devastated, although it is evident that both of them are still struggling with unresolved emotions from their separation.
Meanwhile, Sayali develops cravings for sour food due to her pregnancy. Sachin happily accompanies her to the market, where the couple shops for baby items and toys, joyfully imagining their future with the child. Their excitement reflects the happiness of soon becoming parents.
Later, the Deshmukh family discusses finalizing the legal divorce between Tejas and Roshni before the engagement ceremony. While everyone wishes to complete the process quickly, Tejas confidently declares that Roshni no longer matters to him. However, his expressions suggest that he is still emotionally unsettled.
Renuka then advises Sachin and Sayali not to buy anything for the baby before its birth, believing it may attract bad luck or the evil eye. However, Sachin and Sayali do not believe in such superstitions and find her repeated warnings slightly irritating, though they choose not to argue.
Later, Tejas sits alone in his room, unable to forget his painful conversation with Roshni. Despite trying to move forward, his heart remains disturbed. Renuka notices his sadness and comforts him, urging him to forget Roshni and focus on his new beginning with Harini. Even after her reassurance, Tejas continues to struggle with his lingering emotions.
At home, Renuka once again scolds Sayali for drinking an extra cup of coffee during her pregnancy. Sachin and Sayali are surprised by her constant concern, but this time Sayali realizes that Renuka’s strictness comes from genuine care for her and the baby. She tells Sachin that they should not misunderstand Renuka’s intentions.
Elsewhere, Riya becomes anxious after noticing changes in her body. Worried that she might be pregnant, she immediately takes a pregnancy test. Fortunately, the result comes out negative. While Akash happily says he is ready to become a father whenever the time comes, Riya admits that she is not yet mentally prepared for motherhood. Akash lovingly assures her that he will wait until she feels ready.
Finally, the day of Tejas and Harini’s engagement arrives. Renuka again scolds Sayali for wearing high heels during the early stages of her pregnancy and asks her to be more careful. She also strictly instructs Sachin and Sayali not to mention Roshni in front of Harini or her family under any circumstances.
During the engagement ceremony, Tejas is unable to find the diamond ring in its box and later realizes it is still in his pocket. Just as the ceremony is about to proceed, Roshni suddenly arrives and shocks everyone by stopping the engagement. Renuka immediately orders her to leave, but Roshni refuses, leaving the entire family stunned.
