The episode begins with Savi expressing her gratitude to Manjari for arranging their stay. Manjari warmly replies that the thanks should go to Savi, as no one else would do so much for Neil. Savi humbly responds that whatever she’s doing is nothing compared to what Neil has done for her. Manjari smiles and quietly walks away.
Savi gently places Sai on the bed and surrounds her with pillows. Neil enters and asks why so many pillows are placed between them. Savi explains that Sai is used to sleeping this way—she never sleeps without them. Neil admits he doesn’t remember any of this and says everything feels new to him now.
Just then, Kian’s cries echo through the house. Savi moves to attend to him, but Neil stops her, saying he’ll manage. He carefully picks up Kian and rocks him to sleep. Savi is taken aback, thinking Kian wouldn’t calm down in Neil’s arms due to a lack of emotional connection—but she’s surprised and touched to see Neil soothe him so effortlessly.
Later that night, as they lie down to sleep, Neil turns to Savi and says he can’t recall how they used to say good night—whether he simply said it or used to kiss her too. Trusting his instinct, he softly kisses her on the cheek and says, “Good night,” before turning away.
The next morning, Neil asks Savi to make tea. She nods and heads to the kitchen. Leena comments that it’s been a while since Neil had breakfast with them. Neil brushes it off, saying he was only in the hospital for a day and not to make a big deal out of it. Bhushan teases that Neil is usually too busy with work to join them.
Neil invites Sai to sit beside him and lovingly feeds her breakfast. Sai enjoys the food and tells Leena it reminds her of the first time she met Savi in Mumbai, when she served her a traditional thali. Neil looks confused and asks what she means. Savi quickly covers up, saying Sai is just talking nonsense because she spends too much time on gadgets. She hands Neil his tea.
He takes a sip and makes a face, saying it tastes terrible. “How can you still not know how I like my tea after all these years?” he asks. Leena steps in, saying it’s not Savi’s fault—Neil prefers her tea and always has. She offers to teach Savi, and Neil agrees, saying from tomorrow, he’ll only drink tea made by Savi.
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree and Ridhi meet with a lawyer to seek custody of Sai and Kian. The lawyer assures them their case is strong and they’ll win. Bhagyashree says they’ll leave the city once custody is granted.
Back in the kitchen, Leena corners Savi and warns her not to create more complications for Neil. She harshly adds that once Neil recovers, she’ll throw Savi out of the house.
Later, Neil calls Savi and hands her a letter, asking, “Your name is Savi Thakkar, right? This is for you.” He questions how she’s a Thakkar. Savi explains that Thakkar was her maiden name before marriage. Curious, she asks what the letter says. Neil reads it out—it’s a reinstatement notice. Her suspension has been lifted, and she’s allowed to rejoin duty immediately. Savi is thrilled.
Neil encourages her to return to work without delay. Leena objects, saying Savi should stay home until Neil is fully recovered. Vinod adds that Leena wants Savi to remain on leave to take care of him. But Neil firmly disagrees. “I don’t accept that,” he says. “Savi can care for me and still do her job. I have a big family to look after me. Children learn from what they see—and I want my wife to wear her uniform with pride. I’m proud of her.” Savi beams with pride.
In the final moments, Savi dresses in her police uniform. Neil walks over and gently places the cap on her head. They share a heartfelt moment as Neil says he feels like he’s reliving their most beautiful memories all over again.
