Kapil spots Monisha speaking with Mangal and instantly imagines a worst-case scenario—Monisha spinning a false story that drives Mangal to break off their relationship. Shaking off the thought, he overhears Amma calling Mangal away. On her way, Akshat accidentally stains Mangal’s saree, sending her to Kusum’s washroom to clean it.
Outside the room, Kapil decides it’s time to reveal his past. Speaking through the door, he confesses that he once loved Monisha and had planned to marry her, but fate tore them apart. He assures Mangal they have no connection now and apologizes, asking her to take her time before deciding anything. Unbeknownst to him, Adit is inside, quietly listening—and already plotting to use this information for revenge. Moments later, Mangal comes out, puzzled by Adit’s odd smirk.
Later in the hall, Kapil apologizes again, assuming Mangal is upset over his confession. Misunderstanding, she thinks he’s talking about a delayed order, reassures him, and tells him not to overthink. Kapil feels relieved. Pratima, however, scolds him for revealing the truth, but he argues it was necessary to prevent Monisha from twisting the narrative.
Meanwhile, Adit begins digging for news from August 12, 2022, convinced Kapil committed a serious crime that day. In another room, Mangal finds something startling in a stack of papers and urgently calls Kapil, saying she’s learned the “full truth.” Fearing Monisha’s involvement, Kapil rushes to meet her—only to walk into a surprise birthday party arranged by Mangal and her family. She explains she got the date from their kundli.
Relieved and deeply moved, Kapil believes Mangal has accepted him—past and all—and looks ahead with hope toward their married life.
