The episode begins with Vani feeling heartbroken after seeing Dev and Shristi feeding each other. Abhir approaches her and asks if she would like a tissue. Confused, Vani asks why. Abhir points out that she has been crying. Although Vani denies it, Abhir notices tear stains on her face. Embarrassed, Vani quickly wipes them away. Later, Abhir surprises her by asking her out on a dinner date, leaving Vani stunned by his proposal.
Meanwhile, Dev tells Shristi that he is concerned about Vani because he cannot remember the love story she keeps talking about. Shristi shares her thoughts on the situation.
Soon, a nurse informs Shristi that a patient specifically wants her treatment. Shristi heads off to meet the patient.
Vani tells Abhir that just because there are problems between her and Dev does not give him the right to take advantage of the situation. Abhir calmly explains that he is not trying to pressure her and says she can take all the time she needs to make a decision before walking away.
When Shristi meets the patient, she is surprised to find Digvijay. She asks why he is there, and Digvijay says he had no choice but to come as a patient because she has been too busy to meet him. Shristi apologizes, explaining that the hospital has been keeping her occupied. Digvijay then suggests that they finally complete their engagement ceremony, pointing out that they would have already been engaged if Jia had not fallen ill. Shristi agrees but says she would first like to consult Girish, as Jia is currently undergoing family therapy. Digvijay supports her decision.
Elsewhere, Pratibha urges Uditanshu’s grandmother to eat properly, but the elderly woman refuses, claiming the food has no taste. Vani arrives and gently encourages her to eat something. Dev soon joins them and says that Vani will demonstrate how to eat. He hands Vani a hamburger, and she takes a bite to motivate Uditanshu’s grandmother. Despite their efforts, the grandmother only takes a single bite before insisting that she is already full.
Later that night, Guddu patrols the hospital and becomes frightened after hearing a pot shatter. Dev arrives, and Guddu shares his suspicion that a thief has hidden something valuable nearby and is searching for it. Dev decides to investigate. During his search, he spots Uditanshu’s grandmother running into her room. Stopping her, Dev accuses her of pretending and points out that he saw her running perfectly well despite her earlier act. He demands to know why she lied.
At the same time, Gehna notices how happy Uditanshu seems while talking to Ananya. Later, she directly asks him whether he likes Ananya. Uditanshu admits that he does. Gehna appreciates his honesty and reveals that she also has something she loves—creating content for YouTube, where she has been uploading videos for the past three years.
Back in her room, Uditanshu’s grandmother confesses to Dev that she staged the entire drama to help Uditanshu and Gehna spend time together. When Dev asks why, she reveals a shocking truth: Uditanshu and Gehna are actually husband and wife. Dev is stunned. She explains that their family could not afford Uditanshu’s education, but Gehna’s father agreed to pay for it on the condition that Uditanshu marry Gehna. The marriage took place, and Uditanshu eventually became a doctor. However, after achieving success, he stopped even contacting his wife.
The revelation leaves Dev wondering why Uditanshu has been hiding the truth about his marriage.
