The episode begins with Shristi absentmindedly walking toward the lift area, unaware that the lift shaft is currently under construction. Just in time, Dev notices that she is about to step into the open shaft. He quickly pulls her back, causing both of them to fall to the floor.
Confused, Shristi wonders what she is doing there. Dev explains that she was moments away from walking into the under-construction lift shaft and could have seriously injured herself. Shocked, Shristi questions how that could have happened, especially since she already knew about the ongoing construction work.
Vani asks Shristi about the last thing she remembers. Shristi replies that she was sleeping in Dev’s cabin. Dev informs her that it is already 9 PM. Unable to believe she slept for so long, Shristi looks stunned. Vani asks whether she might have been sleepwalking, but Shristi remains silent. Dev then asks if she is finally convinced that she has indeed been sleepwalking. Shortly afterward, Digvijay arrives to speak with her.
The doctors examine Shristi, but Dev repeatedly interrupts Sunny while he is talking to her. Annoyed, Sunny asks Dev to leave the room, but Dev refuses. Shristi then requests Girish to send Dev out. After speaking with him, Girish manages to convince Dev to leave.
Sunny suggests conducting a blood test. Shristi points out that Dev has already taken her blood under the pretext of blood donation. Girish remarks that it is a good thing, but Sunny tells him not to encourage Dev’s antics. He then informs Shristi that she will need to stay in the hospital overnight.
Shristi says she needs to speak with Jia. Both Dev and Digvijay immediately offer to talk to Jia on her behalf. However, Shristi insists that there is no need and says that she will speak to Jia herself.
Later, Dev confides in OTP, the dog, about how deeply he cares for Shristi. Vani overhears the conversation and feels hurt. Without saying anything, she quietly walks away.
That night, Dev sees Digvijay gently placing a blanket over the sleeping Shristi. He silently leaves and later falls asleep at the hospital himself. Sometime later, Vani also comes to check on Shristi and places a blanket over her before leaving.
The next morning, Dev brings breakfast for Shristi. Soon, Sunny and the other doctors arrive to discuss her reports. Sunny informs her that all the test results are normal, except for elevated zinc levels.
Hearing this, Dev suggests that Shristi undergo a Romberg test. During the test, she stumbles when she closes her eyes and attempts to stand still. Dev points out that this indicates a problem. Shristi argues that the condition can be treated with a copper sulphate injection and insists that she should be allowed to return home. Dev, however, disagrees.
The situation escalates when Digvijay gets into an argument with Dev and accuses him of deliberately trying to prevent his wedding to Shristi.
