The episode begins with Nayanika explaining to Ishaan that she deliberately insulted him because she wanted him to forget her and move on. Ishaan asks whether they can never meet again. Nayanika says that if destiny wants it, they may meet by coincidence, but they cannot live together.
Ishaan reminds Nayanika that he had filled her hairline with sindoor. Nayanika says she is not denying that moment and considers it a beautiful memory that she will always cherish. However, she tells Ishaan that she cannot return to him and asks him to accept the truth.
Nayanika asks Ishaan to find a good girl and settle down. Ishaan wonders what she will do. Nayanika admits that she has been alone until now and cannot imagine accepting anyone other than him. She knows Ishaan does not like hearing her speak this way because he loves her deeply, but she insists that their dream cannot become reality because they were born at the wrong time.
Nayanika asks Ishaan to take care of himself and leaves the room. She worries that if her family learns about the way she treated Ishaan, another drama will begin at home, and she does not want that to happen.
Soon after, Maria arrives and questions Nayanika about why she went to Ishaan’s room. Bishu introduces the two women. Nayanika respectfully takes Maria’s blessings, but Maria immediately lashes out at her for ruining Ishaan’s life.
Maria questions whether Nayanika really gave Ishaan the correct treatment and accuses her of getting close to him for money. Bishu defends Nayanika and tells Maria that she is not that kind of person.
Nayanika also makes it clear that she earns enough to take care of herself. However, Maria remains convinced that Nayanika was with Ishaan because of money. She then asks Bishu to arrange Ishaan’s discharge.
Nayanika objects, explaining that Ishaan still needs another major surgery and therefore cannot be shifted to another hospital. Maria says she does not care about Nayanika’s opinion. Nayanika reminds her that Ishaan needs proper rest and recovery and then leaves.
Later, a nurse informs Nayanika that media representatives are looking for her. Nayanika wonders who told them that she had operated on Ishaan.
Sunidhi then tells Nayanika that Ishaan’s family wants to get him discharged. Nayanika explains that they can take him away if they are willing to sign the necessary bond, but she remains concerned about his condition. She says she now needs to go home.
Meanwhile, the nurse tells Sunidhi about a photograph of Nayanika and Ishaan that has gone viral. Sidhuri asks the nurse not to discuss Nayanika’s personal matters. However, the nurse remains curious about what the media will ask her.
Outside the hospital, journalists surround Nayanika and question her about the viral photograph. They ask whether Ishaan came to the hospital because Nayanika is his wife. Nayanika refuses to comment and walks away without answering their questions.
Later, the Basu family learns about Ishaan’s accident and discovers that Nayanika was the doctor who treated him.
Shreya says she has already seen the breaking news. Ujjaini questions why Nayanika did not simply refuse to treat Ishaan if she wanted to stay away from him. Kaka reminds everyone that Nayanika is a professional doctor and had a responsibility toward her patient.
Ujjaini remains suspicious and wonders whether Nayanika already knew about Ishaan’s accident before leaving the house. Rusha defends Nayanika, saying that she was simply fulfilling her duty as a doctor.
However, Shreya brings up Nayanika’s past lies and says she is convinced that Nayanika has lied about this situation as well.
Just then, Nayanika arrives at the Basu house. Ujjaini immediately confronts her and asks a pointed question: who exactly was her patient?
