The episode begins with Aarti applying sindoor to her hairline. Padma compliments her, saying she looks very beautiful, and Aarti greets her warmly. During their conversation, Aarti brings up Anjali and says that Anjali is not her mother. Padma is shocked by this and questions why Aarti would say such a thing, reminding her of how much Anjali struggled and fought to get Aarti married to Ved. Padma advises Aarti not to speak disrespectfully about Anjali.
Aarti then comments that Anjali is going to marry Abhay. Padma firmly denies this, saying it can never happen, but Aarti insists that the marriage is indeed going to take place. She complains to Padma that Ved is supporting Anjali and Abhay’s wedding, adding that she does not want Anjali and Abhay to get married. Ved arrives and gets into an argument with Aarti. He asks her what is wrong if Anjali wants to marry Abhay. Aarti responds that she cannot tolerate people insulting Anjali or speaking badly about her. Ved assures her that no one will insult Anjali and says he will always stand by her. Their argument escalates until Padma intervenes and tells both of them that Anjali and Abhay are not getting married.
To prove her point, Aarti calls Abhay and puts the phone on speaker. She directly asks him if he is marrying Anjali. Padma then asks Abhay whether he has taken Anjali’s consent. Abhay replies that he will take her permission soon but confirms that it is true he is marrying Anjali. Aarti abruptly ends the call. When Padma questions why she disconnected, Aarti says she has heard enough. She then makes a shocking statement, saying that if Anjali marries Abhay, she will see her dead body. Ved immediately tells her not to speak such words. Aarti storms out angrily.
After Aarti leaves, Padma speaks to Ved about Anjali and Abhay. She says that Anjali truly loves Aman, but it is also true that Abhay loves Anjali deeply. Ved responds that he will do everything possible to ensure Anjali and Abhay’s marriage happens, as Anjali also has the right to be happy.
Meanwhile, Anjali and Pankaj bring some people from the basti to Gini’s warehouse. Anjali instructs them to pour gasoline all over the warehouse. Gini panics and pleads with them to stop, repeatedly asking Anjali to stop as well. Anjali reminds Gini that she had burned down the basti. She lights a matchstick and questions Gini about why she destroyed the basti. Gini confesses that she burned it down because Anjali ruined her life. Pankaj records Gini’s confession, after which they take her into custody and leave.
Later, Anjali calls Raghav and asks him to tell Abhay to stop following her. She says that people are insulting her because of Abhay and that even Aarti has started hating her because of him. Abhay takes the phone and tells Anjali that he loves her. Anjali responds angrily and cuts the call.
Raghav confronts Abhay for wanting to marry Anjali. Bhajan arrives and says the marriage cannot happen because Anjali hates Abhay. Sanya, however, encourages Abhay, telling him that Anjali will eventually understand his love. Bhajan disagrees, comments sarcastically, and walks away. Shortly after, Abhay receives a call and learns that Gini has been arrested.
