The episode begins with Rahi telling Anupama that she wants to speak her heart out. She says that before dying, she has a question for her. Anupama tells her it’s not the right time to talk, as the rain is getting heavier. Rahi accuses Anupama of always being too busy with her biological children whenever she needed her the most. She also reminds Anupama that she was the one who sent her away with Maya.
Anupama calmly explains that Anu herself wanted to stay with Maya and asks Rahi to focus on the brighter side—both she and Anuj still love her deeply. Rahi insists that she has always seen Anupama as her mother, yet Anupama has repeatedly hurt her. Anupama, giving her Anuj’s promise, urges Rahi to climb out of the pit first and argue later. Both struggle to save themselves amid the rising water.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara informs the Kotharis that Gautam’s father disowned him after he refused to file a case against them. She adds that Gautam has sold his shares and is now struggling to make ends meet. Parag praises Gautam’s writing talent, while Prem jokes that he should have become an actor. Anil, however, says they shouldn’t trust Gautam.
Gautam agrees with them, admitting they have every reason to distrust and even hate him, as he wants to free himself from guilt. Prem questions how Gautam happened to be at the same temple they visited. Vasundhara tries to convince the Kotharis that Gautam has changed, but Parag reminds her that his father’s disownment proves otherwise. Vasundhara defends Gautam, saying he actually did them a favor by not filing a case.
When Ansh tries to speak up, Vasundhara silences him, saying he has no right to interfere in family matters. She declares that Gautam will stay with them, and if Ansh has a problem, he can leave. She warns him to tell Anupama to stay out of their family issues this time—or she’ll burn her house down.
Elsewhere, Anupama rescues a weak and dizzy Rahi. Devika, Preet, and Sarita search for them. Determined to get answers, Devika plans to confront Prakash and secretly visit his house to find clues about Anupama and Rahi’s location. Sarita hesitates, fearing they’ll get caught again by Prakash’s men, but Devika and Preet remain resolute.
Back in the pit, Anupama encourages Rahi not to give up and to fight for the people who love her—Anuj and Prem. She warns that the water level is rising fast and they must escape immediately. Meanwhile, Vasundhara takes Gautam to his room and consoles him. Grateful, Gautam thanks her for standing by him.
Anupama finally manages to pull Rahi up and urges her to get out before it’s too late. Elsewhere, Prarthana decides to return to the Shah house after learning about Gautam’s return. Khyati refuses to let her go, saying she can’t bear to be separated from Aryan again, leaving everyone shocked. Prarthana pleads with Ansh to take her back, but Khyati begs him to stay. In the end, Ansh chooses to remain at the Kothari house, while Anupama and Rahi continue their desperate struggle to climb out of the pit.
