The episode opens with Ishani recalling how she gave her statement in Anurag’s favor. Pihu arrives and asks if Shashwat is heading to college. Ishani explains that Shashwat received a call from the college, so he’ll be going—and she plans to go too. Surprised, Pihu questions why Ishani is going when Shashwat lied. Ishani says she needs to go to settle the matter and tells Pihu to focus on her studies. Pihu urges her not to fear Shashwat and to continue pursuing her education.
Ishani reflects that if she hadn’t dared to chase her dreams back then, she wouldn’t be facing such a day now. She blames herself for her current situation, saying she shouldn’t have done anything because you can’t change others no matter what. When Pihu asks why she can’t confront Shashwat, Ishani replies that he has everything while she has nothing. Pihu argues that this is exactly why Ishani must achieve her dream.
Shashwat enters, asking Ishani if she’s ready. Pihu challenges him, questioning why he’s ruining an innocent man’s life. Shashwat insists that Ishani was the one who first accused Anurag, and if she’s now changed her statement, that’s not his concern. Pihu defends Ishani, saying she’d never do such a thing, and declares she wants to attend the meeting too. Shashwat dismisses her, asking what she could possibly do there. Ishani tells Pihu to attend her first college class instead.
Shashwat says his children mean the most to him but admits he once abused Ishani in anger. He demands Pihu respect him and asks what she’d do if he stopped paying her expenses, accusing her of taking advantage of his love. Pihu retorts that he can’t intimidate her like that, adding that this is the same way he scares Ishani. Shashwat warns her not to interfere in husband-and-wife matters. Ishani reminds him that the principal is waiting, but Pihu points out that her mother also earned an income.
Shashwat replies that her mother never wrote a will. He blames Pihu for the fights between him and Ishani, claiming she exaggerates matters and causes problems. He says he married Ishani expecting a housewife to care for his family, but now she claims to have no time because Pihu arranged her college admission. He adds that Raj Didi works and Nandini even makes her coffee.
Pihu sarcastically asks if Ishani is now supposed to take care of Nandini as well, reminding him that he brought Nandini home, not Ishani. Ishani tries to stop Pihu, but Shashwat complains that her questions never end. Ishani informs Shashwat that her exams are approaching, but he tells her she can’t go anywhere without him. He warns that if she wants to stay in his house, she must follow his rules. Ishani counters that he shouldn’t have brought Nandini home and says she isn’t responsible for outsiders. Shashwat calls Nandini their guest, while Pihu insists Nandini could stay somewhere else. Shashwat ends the conversation by saying it’s his house and he alone will decide who can live there.
