The episode opens with Pihu urging Ishani to reveal the truth to everyone, as Shashwat is tarnishing Anurag’s reputation. Ishani refuses to discuss the matter, prompting Pihu to accuse her of being trapped in Shashwat’s anger and of cowardice. She reminds Ishani that she had arranged her college admission, but Ishani abandoned her studies to manage household duties. Pihu questions whether Ishani receives any respect in the house, pointing out that Nandini is handling responsibilities as if Yash were her own son, even though Ishani is his mother.
Ishani replies that she has no issue with Nandini helping with the wedding arrangements and questions why Pihu is raising the issue now. She insists that truth eventually comes to light and doesn’t always need to be proven. A guest, puzzled by Pihu’s frustration, listens as Pihu explains that Shashwat forced Ishani to file a false complaint against Anurag and forbade her from attending college. The guest advises Pihu not to interfere in elders’ matters. Shashwat claims Pihu is speaking without knowing the full story, and Raj Didi changes the subject by resuming the haldi preparations.
At the police station, the inspector questions Anurag about his connection to Nandini. Anurag says he met her once at his home but never afterward. The inspector asks if he is accusing Nandini of filing a false complaint against him. Rajdeep, curious about her motives, listens as Anurag explains Ishani’s role in the matter, realizing the link. Rajdeep decides to take up Anurag’s case, promising to pursue a defamation suit after winning the harassment case. They leave the station together.
Back home, Pihu tells Ishani she is disappointed in her. Ishani argues that even if she speaks the truth, they will still be mocked, and she refuses to discuss it further. Raj Didi dances with the ladies while Ishani quietly finishes her chores and heads upstairs.
The next day, Pihu greets Anurag casually, but he reminds her he is her professor, not her friend. She tells him she will miss college due to Yash’s wedding events and recounts the previous day’s confrontation. Anurag defends Ishani and asks if she will stop attending college altogether. Pihu warns that Shashwat is exploiting Ishani’s weakness and questions why she tolerates his mistreatment.
Meanwhile, Nandini urges Shashwat to review the guest list instead of working, but he says he trusts her to manage everything. When Nandini asks if Ishani will join them for shopping, Ishani retorts that there’s no need for her when Nandini makes all the decisions. Nandini pointedly remarks that Shashwat trusts her more than he trusts Ishani.
