The episode begins with Yash’s haldi ceremony. One by one, everyone applies haldi to Yash—except Ishani. Raj Didi then asks for the performances to begin. Pihu starts dancing with her friends and later pulls Yash onto the stage. He dances briefly with her before returning to his seat. Pihu then urges Ishani to join, but Ishani refuses, reminding her that she is Yash’s mother. Pihu insists, pointing out that even Nandini is dancing. Ishani firmly tells her not to be stubborn. Pihu then notices Nandini dancing with Raj Didi, while Ishani catches Shashwat glaring at her and wonders why he has been upset since yesterday. When Pihu returns to persuade Ishani again, Shashwat intervenes and asks Pihu to stop forcing her, sending her away.
Meanwhile, Nandini asks Raj Didi if she can apply haldi on her, but Raj Didi refuses, saying she is a widow. Nandini turns to Ishani, calling her inauspicious, while Raj Didi blames Ishani for bad luck, claiming misfortune always follows her. Hurt, Ishani reminds them that she prepared everything for Yash’s pre-wedding rituals yesterday, so why is she suddenly considered unlucky today?
At that moment, Shashwat declares that things are indeed different now. He shocks Ishani by revealing that he has invited Anurag to Yash’s wedding. Nandini notices Ishani’s shaken expression and mocks her, asking why she looks so afraid. She adds that since Anurag is innocent, Shashwat made the right choice to resolve matters. Shashwat further reveals that he has also invited the principal and committee members, explaining that it concerns Pihu, who studies at that college. Ishani grows tense, sensing an approaching storm.
Shashwat then taunts her for not joining Pihu on stage, saying perhaps she regrets missing such moments during her own wedding. Raj Didi scoffs, asking who would even wish for such things at her age. Ishani calmly tells Nandini that she never had such dreams. Nandini then slyly questions whether Ishani even wanted marriage at all.
Feeling cornered, Ishani asks why they are interrogating her. Turning to Shashwat, she reminds him that she never claimed she was forced into marriage, then asks whether he truly married her wholeheartedly. Shashwat admits he only wanted someone to take care of his children and household. Nandini cuts in, remarking that Shashwat never wanted a companion for himself.
Shashwat then presses Ishani about her own dreams. Ishani reveals she once wished to complete her studies and achieve something in life. Raj Didi quietly excuses herself. Shashwat, however, continues, asking if Ishani ever dreamed of a Prince Charming. Ishani, baffled, questions his sudden line of thought. Nandini hints that Ishani might be hiding something. Irritated, Ishani warns her not to interfere in matters between her and her husband.
Shashwat then demands the truth. Ishani challenges him, asking what truth he seeks. Nandini instigates further, urging Shashwat to directly ask Ishani about her past affairs. This provokes Ishani, who retorts that she never questioned Nandini about her relationships, including her current affair with Shashwat. She declares she isn’t blind—she can clearly see what’s going on between them.
Shashwat ignores her accusation and again presses Ishani to reveal the truth about her own past. Feeling insulted, Ishani says he is degrading her character. Shashwat then gives her an ultimatum—if she wants, she can confess everything to him before evening.
