The episode begins with Shashwat introducing Ishani to his business partners. Just then, Anurag enters the house. Pihu is surprised to see him and immediately asks if Ishani invited him. Anurag replies that it was Shashwat and Nandini who called him. Overjoyed, Pihu tells him she’s happy to see him there. Shashwat then asks Pihu where Ishani is. Pihu replies that she was just with him. Soon, Anurag spots Ishani, and Pihu takes him over to her and Shashwat. Shashwat warmly welcomes Anurag, saying he was waiting for him, and asks Ishani to talk to him. Anurag, however, says there’s nothing to discuss about studies.
Meanwhile, the priest begins Yash and Ankita’s wedding rituals. The couple takes their pheras, and Yash fills Ankita’s forehead with vermillion, marking the completion of their marriage. Afterward, Shashwat announces he has something important to share, but first he wants Ishani to sing in her melodious voice. Ishani hesitates, asking how she can sing in front of everyone. Shashwat reassures her, saying he will sing along to support her. Anurag also encourages her, reminding her she has Shashwat’s backing.
Taking the mic, Ishani begins singing, and Shashwat soon joins in. Their duet earns applause from everyone present. A professor then remarks that Anurag is also a good singer. Surprised, Shashwat admits he didn’t know this and asks Anurag to sing a duet with Ishani. Anurag resists, saying it wouldn’t be appropriate to sing at a family function. But Shashwat insists, saying everyone wants to hear him. Ishani also tries to decline, but Shashwat encourages her again, and Pihu convinces her, saying she wouldn’t have missed such a chance if it were hers.
Finally, Anurag takes the mic and stands beside Ishani. He begins singing, and Ishani joins in. Their duet mesmerizes the audience, who clap enthusiastically. Nandini then steps onto the stage, praising their performance. However, she quickly shifts the focus by bringing up Anurag’s molestation case. She says Shashwat will reveal the real reason Ishani withdrew her complaint against him.
Shashwat explains that he had grown overly possessive of Ishani and, in misunderstanding, lodged the complaint against Anurag. He apologizes to Anurag, admitting he hasn’t yet told Ishani about this. He adds that he and Ishani share a strong bond and understanding. Shashwat further reveals that because Ishani couldn’t attend college during Yash’s wedding preparations, Anurag sent her notes to help with studies. This makes Anurag wonder whether Shashwat has read the letter he sent with those notes. Shashwat then reveals that Nandini had discovered the letter and handed it to him. Ishani looks confused as Shashwat begins to read the letter aloud.
Everyone is stunned. Pihu stares at Anurag in shock. Shashwat turns to him, asking if he has anything to say. Addressing the principal, Shashwat remarks that now she must understand why Ishani withdrew her complaint—it wasn’t because Anurag was innocent, but because Ishani wanted to protect the family’s reputation.
