The episode begins with Jhanak warmly embracing the villagers, expressing how much she missed them. Sakhi notices Jhanak has lost weight and asks about Rishi. Jhanak explains that Rishi is a busy police officer who rarely gets time off. Prakash asks if she plans to take the exam, and Jhanak responds that her life has always been full of tests—this one is no different. Parashar senses that Jhanak is hiding something. Prakash regrets not being there earlier; he feels he might have stopped the marriage and wonders whether Jhanak’s in-laws have truly accepted her. He senses something is off.
Sakhi then asks if Jhanak will leave after the exams. Jhanak replies she plans to stay a few more days and says her in-laws treat her with great affection. Just then, Nutan comes out and hugs Jhanak tightly. Jhanak breaks down in tears, thinking how her husband abandoned her—just like Nutan’s husband had left Nutan.
Meanwhile, Arshi informs Aditi’s friends that Aditi isn’t speaking to anyone, and only Anjana is allowed to bring her food. Arshi confesses she never liked Rishi and understands the pain of seeing one’s husband love someone else. She urges them to convince Aditi to move on. Madhu comments that Rishi was forced to marry that village girl. Arshi says Rishi kept the truth from them and deserves that village girl. She’s relieved they found out before the wedding.
Madhu worries that if this continues, Aditi may fall into depression. She decides to speak with Aditi about returning to college. Arshi agrees but adds that Aditi must be anxious about facing her students and colleagues. Madhu remains hopeful that Aditi will move on with time and advises Arshi not to stress. Arshi takes Aditi’s friends to her room and tells Aditi to open the door. Aditi lets them in, and Arshi quietly leaves.
Aditi continues ignoring Rishi’s calls. Madhu asks when she plans to return to college. Aditi says she will rejoin next week but admits it’s hard to cope after Rishi broke her trust. Madhu urges her to talk to Rishi at least once, but Aditi refuses.
Back in the village, Nutan asks why Jhanak is crying. Jhanak says she simply missed her. Just then, Bua arrives and pointedly asks what Jhanak’s in-laws sent for her. Parashar checks on Bua’s health and says he had sent Nutan to care for her. Bua responds that Kanka looked after her instead and takes a jab at both Nutan and Jhanak. Jhanak lies, saying she left the Bengali sweet boxes in Rishi’s car. Bua comments that Jhanak is still immature, much like Nutan. Jhanak promises to ask Rishi to bring the sweets when he visits. Parashar, watching all this, starts to believe Jhanak is genuinely happy with Rishi and realizes he may have judged too soon.
