The episode begins with Jhanak getting emotional after seeing Parashar’s photo in the newspaper. Dadabhai notices her reaction and informs Tanushri and Indumati. Tanushri tries calling Jhanak, but there’s no response. Dadabhai explains that someone from Simulboni, who gave an interview, was featured in the paper—perhaps Jhanak knows him. Just then, Rishi enters. Dadabhai asks Rishi if he saw Parashar’s interview in the newspaper.
Rishi is stunned by the mention of Parashar but says he hasn’t had time to read the paper. Indumati suggests that Parashar might be related to Jhanak, which makes Rishi anxious. Tanushri jokingly threatens to tickle Jhanak to get her to speak, but Jhanak stays quiet. Tanushri forcibly makes her stand and asks what’s written in the paper. Jhanak breaks down in tears. Indumati remarks that they won’t understand anything if Jhanak doesn’t speak up. Tanushri asks if Jhanak is missing her home. Jhanak recalls her memories with Parashar and simply says she misses her mother. Rishi tells her to stop crying and says he’ll take her back to her village and leave.
Later, Rishi enters his cabin, where a police officer brings up Simulboni’s mission. Rishi insists they cannot discuss such a confidential matter. The officer mentions that Krishnand had visited and then brings up a troubling rumor—that Rishi is allegedly involved with a village girl. This rumor is reportedly circulating around the office. Rishi tells the officer to leave. Left alone, he thinks about his guilt and decides he must confess everything to Aditi.
Later, at a restaurant, Rishi asks Aditi why she called him there. She says he hasn’t spoken to her all day and apologizes on Arshi’s behalf. Rishi says he doesn’t want to discuss it. Aditi asks him to stop avoiding her. Rishi explains that their family backgrounds are very different, and that won’t change. Aditi says she even fought with Arshi for him. Rishi assures her he doesn’t misunderstand her, but he feels Arshi isn’t happy about him becoming her son-in-law. He admits he isn’t thrilled either about Arshi becoming his mother-in-law. Aditi asks him not to treat her this way. Rishi promises he won’t, and Aditi holds his hand.
The next day, Dadabhai urges the women to hurry or they’ll miss the auspicious time. Abhimanyu teases them for taking four hours to get ready. Indumati argues that there’s nothing wrong with taking time to look presentable. Dadabhai then asks about Jhanak. When she arrives, he tells everyone to get in the car. Rishi, hearing the commotion, comes to check and is told by Indumati to eat and go to work. When he learns that Jhanak is going to Aditi’s house with the family, he questions why. Abhimanyu asks what problem Rishi has with that, explaining that Aniruddh also invited Jhanak. Rishi grows concerned, fearing that Jhanak might reveal the truth to Aditi.
