The episode opens with Rishi questioning why Jhanak is going to Aditi’s house. Dadabhai explains that Aniruddh invited her. Rishi reminds everyone how Jhanak once behaved with Aniruddh. Jhanak then tells Dadabhai she won’t go. Rishi warns his family that if Jhanak causes any trouble there, he won’t be responsible. Dadabhai argues that Jhanak won’t be content staying home all the time without work.
Rishi then bluntly says he wants Jhanak to feel miserable and go back to her village. Abhimanyu questions why Rishi is speaking that way. Indumati intervenes, saying they should drop the subject since it’s getting late. Everyone leaves except Rishi, who remains lost in thought, wishing for freedom from Jhanak and hoping she doesn’t meet Aditi.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh happily greets Choton with a hug and asks about Mrinalini. Choton says she’s in London but will attend the wedding. He then takes blessings from Bablu and Anjana, and Bablu heads out to buy sweets. Just then, Rumi arrives and asks for Aditi. Aniruddh says she’s in her room.
Arshi soon enters. Aditi joins them and expresses her annoyance at Mrinalini to Choton, who assures her that Mrinalini will talk to her on a video call. Arshi suggests Aditi get ready. Anjana then tells Rumi to accompany her to bring haldi. Arshi questions why Rumi is going with her.
Aniruddh confronts Arshi, asking what her issue with Rumi is. Arshi bluntly states that Rumi is a widow. Aniruddh scolds her for making such an insensitive remark. Rumi blames herself, but Aditi becomes upset and threatens to cancel the Aashirwad ceremony. Arshi is shocked. Aditi says there’s no point in the ceremony if the family can’t come together happily. Rumi urges her not to speak like that. Aniruddh agrees with Aditi. Arshi insists she didn’t mean to hurt anyone. Aniruddh demands she apologize to Rumi. Arshi hesitates, noting that guests are present, but Aniruddh points out they’ve already witnessed everything. Arshi then apologizes and walks inside. Aniruddh consoles Aditi and asks her to focus on getting ready.
Later, Rishi’s family arrives at Aditi’s house. Aniruddh and his family warmly welcome them. Abhimanyu jokes that it doesn’t seem like the Aashirwad ceremony will happen. Aniruddh asks why, and Indumati lightheartedly says the ceremony can’t begin if they don’t enter the house. Everyone laughs, and Rishi’s family steps inside. Jhanak is captivated by the beautiful decorations. Kaju, Badam, and Mishti go off to greet Aditi.
Arshi welcomes Rishi’s family. Aditi enters and takes blessings from the elders. Payal compliments her look, and Tanushri says the color suits her beautifully. Anjana announces it’s time to begin the Aashirwad ceremony. Jhanak quietly watches the scene unfold.
