The episode opens with Nutan telling Jhanak that Rishi hasn’t come. Jhanak calmly reminds her mother that she already said Rishi was busy. Nutan remarks that he didn’t even come to support his wife in such a difficult time.
Meanwhile, Parashar asks Dadabhai if he faced any problems at the hotel. Dadabhai assures him everything is fine and mentions that he spoke to the doctor, who said Jhanak will recover soon. Parashar then asks when Rishi will arrive. Putul quickly lies, saying Rishi is on an important mission and can’t come. Disappointed, Parashar comments that Jhanak is in critical condition yet Rishi only cares about his job. He adds that Rishi isn’t even answering calls, but clarifies that he has no complaints against them. He then excuses himself, saying he has some work to attend to.
Jhanak tells Nutan that it’s good Rishi sent his family in his place. Soon, Dadabhai and Putul arrive, and Jhanak’s face lights up at the sight of them. Nutan and Putul step outside to give her some private time with Dadabhai. Jhanak assures him she will recover soon. Dadabhai scolds her gently for neglecting her health.
Tearing up, Jhanak says she missed him deeply. Dadabhai promises to take her to Kolkata, but she refuses, questioning what right she has to stay in his house. He tells her she is important to him and that he truly realized it only after she left. Jhanak insists he shouldn’t worry about her and should return home with Putul. Dadabhai, however, firmly says he will take her with him no matter what.
Outside, Nutan asks Putul if Rishi has accepted Jhanak as his wife. Surprised, Putul asks why she doubts it. Nutan explains that Jhanak hasn’t said anything, but she feels something is off. Putul admits Rishi had been engaged to someone else and was forced into marrying Jhanak, so it will take time for him to accept her wholeheartedly. Nutan sadly notes that Jhanak never experienced a father’s love and wonders how she would feel if she never receives her husband’s love either. Putul reassures her that things will eventually improve.
Elsewhere, Abhimanyu tells Indumati that Dadabhai shouldn’t have done what he did. Tanushri adds that their relationship with Aditi’s family might be ruined for good and says Rishi is very upset. Payal urges Indumati to call Dadabhai and ask when he’ll return, but Indumati refuses, saying he went against the family. Neela then taunts that Putul, having failed in her own relationship, doesn’t like seeing other couples happy. Indumati tells her to stop, but Neela adds that Rishi hasn’t left his room.
Back with Jhanak, she asks Dadabhai if Rishi married Aditi. He avoids answering, but she tells him she hasn’t revealed the truth to her family or villagers and requests him not to say anything either. Dadabhai agrees.
Later, Tanushri suggests they visit Aditi’s house the next day. Just then, Rishi arrives and informs them that Aditi has refused to marry him.
