Jhanak Today Episode 22 June 2025
The episode begins with Nutan questioning the villagers about why they are gathered outside her house. Veer tells her that Jhanak is smart and might help Rishi escape from the village. Nutan responds that if that were the case, they would have already stationed people to guard Rishi’s place. She advises everyone to go home and rest instead of disturbing her.
Bua comments sarcastically that while Jhanak and Nutan sleep peacefully, they’ve disturbed everyone else’s rest. Kanka adds that Jhanak even stood up for Rishi. Nutan defends Jhanak, asking what wrong she said. She explains that Jhanak only wants to pursue her dreams, but the villagers are trying to destroy them. She adds that if Parashar were here, she would’ve convinced him too.
Mangal reminds her that they are only following Parashar’s rules. Nutan argues that everyone knows Jhanak didn’t lie, yet no one supported her. She expresses her desire to spend some time alone with Jhanak since she’ll be leaving the next day. Dhamu says he trusts Nutan and asks her to keep an eye on Jhanak. The villagers then leave.
Some village women assure Nutan of their support for both her and Jhanak. Nutan tells them that Jhanak might help Rishi escape and explains that even if Jhanak marries Rishi, she won’t be granted her rightful place as a wife or daughter-in-law. She says she’s confident Jhanak will make her proud one day.
Just then, Jhanak arrives. The women advise her to be cautious and leave. Jhanak tells Nutan it’s time for her to go. Nutan says she can’t go with her. Jhanak reassures her and promises to return before sunrise. She hugs Nutan and leaves. Nutan prays to God for Jhanak’s safety.
Later, Jhanak sneaks into Rishi’s room. Rishi expresses surprise that she actually came. She asks if he doubted her. Rishi criticizes the villagers, calling them foolish, and asks how they can escape. Jhanak tells him to stay calm—she has a plan. Rishi thanks her, and she says they must first get to the highway. Rishi tells her to stay safe once he’s gone, but Jhanak insists he shouldn’t worry about her. They quietly leave together.
On the way, Rishi says he never expected her to show up and praises her courage in standing up to the villagers. Jhanak tells him they’ll take the forest route and assures him it’s safe. Rishi is still concerned about her safety, but Jhanak reminds him to think about Aditi. She says she’ll return home unharmed. Rishi says the villagers will know she helped him escape. Jhanak replies confidently that she can handle them.
Meanwhile, Dhamu scolds the guards for falling asleep. When he opens Rishi’s door and finds it empty, he realizes Rishi has escaped. He urgently says they must catch him before he leaves the village. Mangal agrees, and they begin searching for Rishi.
Back on the path, Jhanak asks Rishi to tell Aditi about her. Rishi agrees and suggests she turn back while he goes alone. Jhanak insists that no one will come their way and they’re safe. She tells him to stop talking and keep walking—they’re close to the highway. Rishi thanks her again, saying he can finally go home because of her.
Meanwhile, Pihu tells Pralay that she’s feeling better today. Ishani brings her a glass of milk. Pihu mentions that she plans to go to a restaurant with Jeet that evening, and he will drop her back afterward. Ishani immediately objects, saying Pihu shouldn’t go. Pihu says she’s talking to Pralay, not her.
Ishani argues that Pihu needs rest and restaurant food isn’t ideal right now. Pihu says Jeet is coming to pick her up. Raj Didi supports her, saying Jeet is a good person. Pralay agrees.
Ishani then asks if she can accompany them. Pihu snaps back, telling her not to act like her guardian. Raj Didi tells Ishani to focus on cooking instead. Ishani insists that Jeet isn’t a good guy and that Pihu should focus on her studies. Pihu accuses her of overstepping. Pralay tells Ishani not to complicate a simple matter. Pihu challenges Ishani to show proof that Jeet is a bad person. Ishani says she won’t let anyone harm Pihu.
Pihu firmly tells Ishani to stop interfering and not waste everyone’s time. Pralay offers to drop Pihu himself and assures Ishani that everything will be safe. Finally, Pihu tells Ishani to return to the kitchen.
