The episode begins with UV firmly telling Eshwar that he has no intention of getting married. Eshwar taunts him and suggests that if UV marries the girl he has chosen, then he can reopen his café. This enrages UV. He retorts that he will only marry someone chosen by his mother. Eshwar then questions him about his mother’s whereabouts and urges him to be practical—accept the deal, and he can have his café back. UV lashes out, accusing Eshwar of blackmail. Eshwar, unfazed, tells him to interpret it however he wants and encourages him again to agree. But UV refuses firmly and storms off. Eshwar smirks as UV’s cousins try to talk to him, but seeing his mood, they decide to give him space.
Later, in his room, UV breaks down, feeling helpless about his café and Eshwar’s manipulative proposal. He emotionally seeks his mother’s guidance and reminisces about the events that led to the café’s closure.
Meanwhile, Rukhmani confronts Eshwar about his conversation with UV. Eshwar admits he knew UV would reject the marriage proposal. Rukhmani, upset, scolds him for adding to her worries and demands to know the identity of the girl he has chosen. Eshwar refuses to tell her but cryptically says, “If UV is water, the girl is oil.” Rukhmani criticizes him for forcing such an incompatible match, pointing out that oil and water can never mix.
Eshwar then calls Nathu Lal and asks him to bring water, oil, and a spoon. When he gets them, Eshwar stirs the oil and water with the spoon and explains that if someone plays the role of the spoon—bringing them together—UV and the girl can still be compatible. Rukhmani continues urging him to reveal the girl’s identity, but Eshwar remains tight-lipped.
Elsewhere, Ambika questions Om and Ash about UV’s marriage, but both insist they know nothing. They leave, but Ambika is unconvinced. Worried about losing the property if UV gets married, she vows to ensure that neither UV nor his future wife will gain any rights over it.
The next morning, Katha is troubled as she recalls a conversation between Mohan and Vandana from the night before. She’s anxious about how to decline the marriage proposal. Naina notices her restlessness and asks what’s wrong. Katha brushes her off, but Naina assumes her return has caused tension between Katha and Mohan. Katha assures her that’s not the case.
Just then, they hear Vandana calling out to Katha. They rush outside to find Mohan’s health worsening. The doctor arrives and advises the family to keep Mohan happy and stress-free. Later, Katha sits alone, wondering what she can do to ease Mohan’s mind and bring him peace.
