The episode begins with Katha finding an old photo, but it’s covered in mud, making it hard for her to recognize who it is. She wonders whose picture it might be.
The next day, the Jindal family prepares for UV’s haldi ceremony. Rukmini asks Ambika to perform the ritual, but Ambika declines, asking Rukmini to do it instead. Chandrika makes a snide comment about UV’s mother, who left the house years ago. Rukmini urges her not to bring it up, fearing UV might cancel the wedding if he hears it. She then instructs Shikha to bring UV downstairs.
Just then, UV’s cousins, friends, and uncle arrive, carrying him down joyfully. They ask him to remove his kurta for the haldi ceremony, but UV vents his frustration about all the rituals happening around him. Shikha asks Rukmini what to do with the cow dung, prompting UV and his cousins to cringe. UV mutters to himself that he wants to stay away from both gobar and Gobar Devi.
Meanwhile, Naina and Vandana quietly enter Katha’s room and see her tearfully looking at her mother’s wedding lehenga and photo. Seeing her emotional, they silently leave. Katha speaks to her mother’s photo, opening up about her future and the life ahead after marriage.
Back at the haldi preparations, Eshwar urges Rukmini to begin the ceremony. Chandrika agrees, and Rukmini tries to convince UV to go ahead. Though reluctant, UV listens as Charu explains the meaning behind the ritual and mentions that haldi must also be sent to the bride’s family. Suddenly, UV hatches a plan to sabotage the ceremony. Feigning excitement, he agrees to begin the ritual, surprising everyone with his sudden change in attitude.
Shlok becomes suspicious and questions UV, but UV deflects and insists Chandrika start the haldi. Rukmini also encourages her, so Chandrika applies haldi on UV, followed by the rest of the family.
While pretending to go along with the ceremony, UV vows to himself that even if he can’t ruin the haldi, he will find another way to stop the wedding. Chandrika overhears him and scolds him for his intentions. After the ceremony, UV secretly calls out “Code Red” to his cousins and friends, and they gather. UV tells them he’s planning to stop the wedding and will take help from his detective. He then leaves.
Shlok, having overheard their conversation, reminds himself that he was once part of the “Manmoji Gang” too, and therefore knows how UV thinks. He vows to sabotage UV’s sabotage.
Later, UV contacts his detective, asking him to ensure that the haldi from their house never reaches the bride’s side. The detective agrees, calling it his life’s mission. Shlok can’t catch the full conversation but understands UV’s intent to stop the wedding and decides to inform Eshwar.
Meanwhile, Katha steps out of her room for her haldi ceremony. She takes blessings from Mohan, and Vandana blesses her, emotionally hoping for Katha’s bright and happy future.
