The episode begins with Mihir getting irritated when Sobha tells him that his mother hasn’t observed the Karva Chauth fast and might have gone shopping. Frustrated, Mihir decides to leave the house to attend a birthday party since Tulsi is not at home.
Meanwhile, Noina prepares Mihir’s favorite food and reminds Suchi to bring an eggless cake as Mihir is vegetarian. When the doorbell rings, Noina expects Mihir but is surprised to see Tulsi, who comes to wish her a happy birthday. Tulsi informs Noina that Mihir’s gifts have already been delivered and subtly reminds her that she’s taking advantage of Mihir’s fight. Noina welcomes Tulsi and tries to serve water, but Tulsi reminds her of her fast. At that moment, Mihir arrives with a yellow flower to wish Noina and is shocked to see Tulsi. Realizing Tulsi has kept the fast, Mihir calls Sobha to confront her about lying. Sobha admits she lied to bring Mihir closer to his mother. Tulsi reassures Mihir not to worry and hands over the gift he supposedly ordered, but Mihir denies ordering anything, and Noina quickly changes the topic.
Elsewhere, Supriya gets angry at Vrinda for refusing to marry Subhash. Nitin tries to calm her and tells Supriya that Subhash is a bad person. Vrinda insists she doesn’t want to marry him, but Supriya threatens that her mother could die if she refuses.
Back at the celebration, Mitali lights the candles while Suchi brings Noina to cut the cake. Everyone sings birthday songs as Noina makes a wish and cuts the cake. Mitali takes the first bite, followed by Suchi, and then they offer it to Mihir, who refuses because he is fasting. Tulsi is pleased to see Mihir observing the fast, and both of them pray under the moon and break the fast together. Tulsi then feeds Mihir the cake, which leaves Noina feeling suffocated, unable to see Mihir with Tulsi. She goes to arrange dinner, thinking her birthday has been ruined. Suchi tries to console her, reminding her that Mihir is Tulsi’s husband. Noina angrily throws her necklace, which Tulsi notices. Tulsi, however, considers Noina’s anger a blessing, saying her birthday is lucky because she gets to have dinner with Mihir and appreciates having a friend like Noina.
Later, Mihir informs Noina that he has called the pandit to finalize the engagement date. Mitali and Tulsi take Mihir to the dining table while Suchi continues to calm Noina.
Noina, feeling stressed about Tulsi spoiling her birthday, is shown a video by Mitali where Angad gives water to Vrinda. Mitali expresses her insecurity and urges Noina to fire Vrinda immediately. Noina advises her to wait 15 days and focus on the engagement date instead. Mitali leaves after Noina gets a call.
At home, Mihir and Tulsi arrive, and a red rose falls from Mihir’s coat. Tulsi notices and asks Mihir about it. Mihir tries to divert the topic, but Tulsi senses he is lying, happy and suspicious at the same time.
