The episode begins with Anushka secretly stealing Khushi’s mangalsutra and handing it over to her aunt, Queenie. Both know how strict Nandita is about the sanctity of a mangalsutra, and they are fully aware that Khushi had been warned never to remove it. Since Khushi and Krishna’s marriage is not real, Khushi does not feel compelled to wear it all the time—but Queenie sees this as the perfect chance to disgrace her. Determined, she decides to use this incident to expose Khushi and Krishna’s fake marriage and vows to reveal their truth publicly.
Meanwhile, Nandita lovingly tells Baldev to wear a jacket over his plain kurta. Baldev is touched by her affection, still surprised by her care even after so many years together. Nandita fondly recalls the mangalsutra he once gave her and proudly cherishes its traditional value. With that affectionate spirit, she heads toward Khushi’s room to help her get ready.
At the same time, Queenie locks Khushi’s stolen mangalsutra inside her private locker, ensuring no one can find it. She eagerly anticipates the moment Khushi will be exposed. Still furious over Krishna’s harsh words from the previous day, Queenie plans to humiliate Khushi as revenge.
As expected, Khushi panics when she cannot find her mangalsutra, which she clearly remembers leaving on the dining table. Krishna initially brushes off her worry, telling her she can simply make an excuse to Nandita. But Khushi, terrified and emotional, insists he must help her search. The two turn the whole room upside down, but the mangalsutra is nowhere to be found. Slowly, they realize Anushka must be responsible. With no time left, Krishna takes out a beautiful necklace and places it around Khushi’s neck, hoping it will distract Nandita from noticing the missing mangalsutra.
Moments later, Anushka enters and casually asks them to come down for breakfast—her expression clearly revealing how eager she is to see Khushi’s downfall.
At the dining table, Queenie notices Khushi’s nervous face and grows even more delighted. Pretending to be affectionate, she asks Nandita to bring Dimpy’s diamond necklace to gift to Khushi. Her true intention is to force attention onto Khushi’s neck so the missing mangalsutra will be noticed. Queenie announces that she would personally like to place the necklace on Khushi. But Krishna intervenes calmly, saying diamonds do not suit Khushi. Nandita also disagrees with Queenie and refuses to let her pressure Khushi into wearing it.
Queenie’s plan is halted for the moment, and Khushi quietly sighs in relief.
