The episode opens with Gayatri serving the halwa she has prepared to everyone. Umesh praises it, calling it the best he has ever had. Gayatri eagerly watches Lakshmi, waiting for her to take a bite. Just then, a rat scurries past Lakshmi’s feet, startling her and causing her to drop the bowl.
Gayatri immediately scolds Lakshmi for wasting the halwa, but Karthik steps in, saying it’s fine. He offers to share his portion and lovingly feeds Lakshmi from his own bowl. Umesh tells Gayatri not to overreact. Sanjana, however, remarks that Gayatri must have put something special in Lakshmi’s bowl and proceeds to show a video.
Gayatri explains that the only extra ingredient was coconut, as Lakshmi likes it. A flashback shows Gayatri noticing Sanjana recording her in the kitchen through a mirror. Pretending to be affectionate, Gayatri tells Sanjana she is happy to see Lakshmi and Karthik together and even hopes to see their child someday. She asks Sanjana to stop suspecting her and denies adding poison. Lakshmi also requests Sanjana to let go of the past. Sanjana leaves, but in her mind, she is certain Gayatri tried to poison Lakshmi and vows to expose her.
Later, Gayatri confronts Sanjana, warning her to stay within her limits. Sanjana warns back, telling Gayatri not to harm Lakshmi or she will lose Karthik forever. Gayatri slaps her and walks away, while Sanjana resolves to teach her a lesson.
Meanwhile, Karthik and Nidhi prepare a Shimla-style snowfall surprise. Karthik asks Nidhi if she sent Lakshmi’s gift, and Nidhi confirms that she has already received it. A knock sounds at Lakshmi’s door—she opens it to find a box from Karthik containing a beautiful gown.
Karthik requests that she wear it and come downstairs for a surprise. Lakshmi asks if she can wear a saree instead, but Karthik insists on the gown. When she arrives, Karthik is captivated by her beauty. Lakshmi is overjoyed by the snowy setup, and the two share a joyful dance.
Elsewhere, Gayatri notices Lakshmi is missing. Following the music to the hall, she sees Lakshmi and Karthik dancing, which fuels her anger. She silently vows to keep Lakshmi away from her son.
Later, Gayatri meets Pandit Maharaj, telling him that Lakshmi didn’t eat the halwa mixed with the special powder and that she doesn’t want Lakshmi near Karthik. Maharaj watches Lakshmi from a distance and declares she is not suitable for him, warning that her presence will only bring trouble. He suggests performing a ritual to ensure Lakshmi never becomes a mother.
Lakshmi walks in and asks Gayatri what they were discussing and who the pandit is. Gayatri lies, saying Maharaj has come to remove negative energy from the house. Maharaj takes Lakshmi’s hand, claiming her horoscope is dangerous for her husband and advising her to stay away from him. Lakshmi refuses and walks away. Offended, Maharaj vows to deal with her defiance.
