The episode opens with Lakshmi returning home. She sets her bag on the bed, and her notebook accidentally slips. As she picks it up, she notices the song lyrics she had written earlier. Remembering Karan’s words about finishing the song, Lakshmi begins completing it with emotion and focus.

Elsewhere, Karan tells Barkha that Karthik has already lost three chances and calls him a born loser. Barkha defends Karthik, saying he’s talented and just needs one opportunity to shine. Karan dismisses her words, claiming luck never helps anyone. Barkha argues that Karthik deserves a chance, and Karan teasingly calls her biased. He then surprises her by declaring Karthik will perform at the event. Barkha happily calls him the best brother.
Later, Lakshmi finishes her lyrics. Determined to sabotage Karthik, Karan sneaks into Lakshmi’s house to steal them. When Lakshmi comes out of the bathroom, he hides in the cupboard but starts coughing from the dust. Hearing the noise, Lakshmi approaches cautiously with a pan. Karan bursts out, and they both fall to the floor. Lakshmi angrily confronts him for stealing her diary and threatens to complain. Karan insists he only wants the lyrics, but Lakshmi refuses, saying she’ll never share them with anyone except Karthik.
Meanwhile, Karthik joyfully tells Gayatri over the phone that he got a contract and can now afford his father’s treatment. He wonders who wrote the touching lyrics. On the other side, Karan decides to replace Karthik with another singer, fearing the event might fail. Barkha gets furious when she learns Lakshmi denied Karan the lyrics.
Barkha calls Lakshmi, pretending it’s urgent work and orders her to come to the office within 30 minutes. When Lakshmi arrives, Barkha instructs her to fetch some cartons from the terrace. Once Lakshmi goes up, Barkha locks the door. Heavy rain pours down as Lakshmi pleads to be let in. Barkha cruelly says this is her punishment for not giving the lyrics.
When Barkha confronts her, Lakshmi firmly says she can torture her but can’t force her to give up her words. Barkha angrily admits her brother could hire top lyricists but strangely prefers Lakshmi’s writing. Lakshmi declares her lyrics are deeply personal and meant only for Karthik. Enraged, Barkha pushes Lakshmi and locks her on the terrace in the rain.
At the same time, Maddy informs Karthik that Karan has found another singer and wants him gone. Karthik sadly decides to leave, thanking Barkha for her support. Barkha feels torn and obsessed, vowing not to lose him.
On the terrace, Lakshmi writes “HELP” with mud on her dupatta and throws it down. It lands near Karthik, who reads the message and realizes someone is trapped. Rushing upstairs, he finds Lakshmi unconscious in the rain and runs to save her.
