Kapil praises Ishana for telling the truth and informs her that the real culprit has been arrested. He gently asks her to promise never to lie again, and she agrees. Turning to Mangal, Kapil commends her values and appreciates her for choosing honesty instead of hiding Ishana’s mistake. Mangal responds with humility, saying that as a mother, her daughter’s mistakes are her own, and she simply did what was right.
Later, Kusum encourages Mangal to reconsider breaking off her engagement with Kapil, reminding her that he is a good man. Mangal, however, expresses concern for Ishana. Kusum gently points out that it was Ishana who wronged Kapil, and even then, he remained calm and composed. Overhearing this, Ishana acknowledges her mistake and tells Mangal that Kapil truly is a good man.
Moved by everyone’s support, Ishana urges Kapil to place the ring back on Mangal’s finger. Akshat also pleads with him to return to their family. While Sowmya silently mocks the emotional moment, Pratima beams with joy and reveals that she had kept Mangal’s engagement ring, always hopeful that this reunion would happen.
Kapil turns to Mangal and says the decision is hers. With encouragement from Ishana, Akshat, and Shanti, Mangal smiles and nods. Kapil slides the ring onto her finger, and she lovingly reciprocates, rekindling their engagement to the sound of applause. The family rejoices, but Adit looks visibly upset, while Sowmya thinks to herself that soon, Mangal will be out of her way.
Later, Pratima visits Kapil and Mangal at the office and shares the news that Mr. Varma—Kapil’s boss and mentor—has arrived in Delhi. She wants to host a dinner so that Varma and Kapil’s friends can meet Mangal before the wedding. Though Mangal is hesitant, Pratima insists, and she finally agrees. Kapil reminds her to be punctual, noting that Mr. Varma is particular about time.
Back home, as Mangal rushes to get ready, Akshat’s loud playing irritates Sowmya, who sees Mangal’s dinner as the perfect opportunity to strike. Cunningly, she adds medicine to Akshat’s milk. Just as Mangal is about to leave, Akshat suddenly clutches his stomach and begins crying. Kusum reminds her of the dinner plans, but Akshat tearfully pleads with Mangal not to go. Discovering that he has a fever, Mangal decides to stay and care for him.
At the dinner, Kapil and Pratima warmly welcome Mr. Varma and the guests, who are eager to meet Mangal. She calls Kapil to inform him that she won’t be able to attend due to Akshat’s illness. Kapil understands and supports her decision, but Pratima is visibly disappointed. She quietly wonders why Mangal doesn’t grasp the importance of the occasion. When Varma asks about Kapil’s fiancée, Kapil tries to divert the conversation.
Unwilling to let Kapil face public humiliation again, Pratima makes her way to Mangal’s home. Just as Mangal notices Akshat’s fever beginning to subside, she turns—only to find Pratima standing silently at the door.
