The episode begins with Lakshmi happily telling Karthik that Imarti needs to go for a hospital checkup for the baby. Karthik replies that her joy makes him happy too. As they enter their room, they find it unusually dark. When Karthik switches on the light, the bulb suddenly bursts. He quickly shields Lakshmi from harm. Assuming it happened because the bulb was old, Karthik says he will fetch a new one, while Lakshmi insists on cleaning up the mess and goes to get the necessary things. Meanwhile, a masked person—revealed to be Jia—secretly slips out of their room, exposing herself as the one behind the blast.
Elsewhere, Sanjana tells Gayatri that she is eager to see Imarti’s face, as she finds her suspicious. Later, Lakshmi serves food to Imarti. As Imarti begins eating, Gayatri and Sanjana try to catch a glimpse of her face but fail. After finishing, Imarti goes to close the curtains when her ghoonghat accidentally slips. Just then, Lakshmi enters with some clothes. Imarti hurriedly covers her face again and warns Lakshmi not to look at her, claiming that if anyone sees her, her mannat will break.
Lakshmi questions this unusual mannat, saying at least another woman should be allowed to see her face. To comfort her, she stands before Imarti with her eyes closed and gently helps her adjust the ghoonghat again. She assures, “Don’t worry, I didn’t see your face.” Relieved, Jia (disguised as Imarti) thanks her. Lakshmi then asks her to get ready and leaves.
Later, Jia receives a phone call and confidently tells the caller, “This time everything will go as planned. Karthik’s baby is in my womb, and I will use this baby as my weapon.”
Jia then scatters thorn pieces among the red rose petals laid out for the Ganesh idol’s arrival, hoping to injure Lakshmi. Soon, Umesh praises Nidhi’s festive decorations as Karthik and Lakshmi arrive joyfully with Bappa. They dance with devotion, and Imarti also joins, surprising everyone. Pretending to slip, Jia makes Karthik rush to hold her. When he notices her twisted ankle, he fixes it, and Jia calls him a magician for easing her pain. Umesh reminds Karthik to carry Bappa inside as the muhurat has begun.
Lakshmi lifts Bappa and walks over the rose path. Suddenly, she feels sharp pain and wonders how thorns got mixed with the petals. Struggling to move, she nearly falls, but Karthik catches her. Together, though wounded, they continue carrying Bappa. Karthik too gets hurt by the hidden thorns. Lakshmi insists they must not stop until the pratishthapan is completed. With determination, they endure the pain and perform the sthapana, leaving Jia stunned.
After the rituals, Gayatri notices blood under Karthik’s feet and questions him. He explains that Lakshmi is also hurt because of thorns in the decoration. Umesh angrily asks Nidhi why she didn’t check the arrangements properly. Imarti/Jia quickly covers up, saying roses naturally come with thorns. Gayatri scolds Lakshmi for letting Karthik get hurt along with her, but Karthik steps in to defend his wife.
Later, Karthik takes Lakshmi aside. He tenderly removes the thorns from her feet, and she does the same for him. From a distance, Jia watches them closely.
