The episode opens with Mannat telling Vikrant that she has no desire to fight for her rights. She considers Shruthi her mother—the one who raised and cared for her. Mannat adds that she was unaware of the truth until that night when the doctor informed her she needed an urgent liver transplant, forcing her to make a difficult decision. Vikrant walks away in silence. Mannat wonders if he’s hurt because she didn’t tell him the truth earlier.
Kiran confronts Mannat, accusing her of hiding the truth from everyone. She questions how many more secrets Mannat is keeping. Mallika blames herself, saying it was her mistake to choose Mannat over her own child. Gagan tells her to leave. He then asks Aishwarya how she’s feeling.
Meanwhile, Roni and Neetu are left stunned by the revelations. Roni turns to Gagan and asks how he plans to handle all this. Gagan admits he, too, was shocked when he first learned the truth. He struggled to accept it, but ultimately, he thought about Mannat’s pain—how Aishwarya had abandoned her at birth.
Vikrant asks if Mannat had told Gagan the truth earlier. Gagan confirms she did. Vikrant is visibly disappointed. Mannat speaks up, saying Gagan was the only one in the family who genuinely supported her. She thanks him, leaving everyone shocked that he had known all along and still stood by her.
As Kiran continues to badmouth Aishwarya, Mannat speaks out. She questions why society always blames the woman. Why does no one ask about the man who made her pregnant? He was equally responsible, yet only the woman bears the shame, the humiliation, and the consequences. Society is quick to judge and tear women apart with questions, while ignoring the betrayers.
Shruthi says that Aishwarya wasn’t like that—she would have asked for help if she needed it. She recalls how she had gone looking for Aishwarya, only to find her already having given birth and abandoning the child in a storm. Shruthi says she still remembers the constable’s words from that night.
Mannat, however, suggests Aishwarya might have had her reasons. Just then, Aishwarya enters and confirms it—she did have her reasons. She reveals that she was once a brilliant student with dreams of helping her sister. But then Anirudh came into her life—a criminal with a long list of cases. He proposed to her multiple times, and each rejection bruised his ego.
Elsewhere, Varun questions Anirudh about whether the Salujas will believe his version of events. Anirudh says they won’t believe Aishwarya—after all, she abandoned her own daughter. He plans to use that against her. He adds that he has DNA test results to prove Mannat is Aishwarya’s daughter. She can’t escape him now—she hurt his ego, and he won’t let it go.
Back at the house, Aishwarya opens up. She explains that she had filed a case against Anirudh after he molested her. One day, while meeting Mannat at a restaurant, she saw some goons misbehaving with her and was flooded with painful memories. She couldn’t bear the trauma that Anirudh brought into her life. In trying to move on, she distanced herself from her sister and friends. But when she discovered Mannat was inside her, she couldn’t go through with an abortion. Instead, she hardened her heart and left her newborn behind.
She confesses she hated everything that reminded her of Anirudh—including Mannat. Breaking down, she apologizes to Mannat, saying she doesn’t deserve to be her mother.
Mannat, in tears, apologizes in return for reopening those painful wounds.
In the end, Gagan and Vikrant stand by Aishwarya. When Kiran tries to humiliate her, Vikrant speaks up, defending Aishwarya and refusing to let her be shamed any longer.
