The episode begins with Mannat revealing a painful truth to Mallika — that her mother abandoned her at birth. She reveals that her mother is none other than Sonia Khanna, also known as Aishwarya Rai Singh, who tried to kill her out of greed and selfishness. Mannat says Mallika proved she is truly Aishwarya’s daughter — just as Aishwarya once tried to kill her child, Mallika tried to kill her mother. She expresses her deep disappointment in them both.
Mallika is left stunned by the revelation. When Aishwarya tries to explain, Mallika pushes her away and runs off. Aishwarya, unable to accept the situation, scolds Mannat for telling Mallika the truth. Mannat replies that she donated her liver to save Aishwarya, and that’s the only reason she’s showing her compassion now. When Aishwarya asks why she came, Mannat reveals she overheard their conversation and suspected Aishwarya would frame her own mother to protect Mallika. She says that Aishwarya raised Mallika in her own image—without mercy—and that this proves upbringing matters more than blood. She informs her she’s already contacted the doctor, and it’s Aishwarya’s decision whether to proceed with treatment. Mannat then takes Shruthi and leaves.
Meanwhile, Mallika is haunted by Vikrant’s rejection and his preference for Mannat. Mannat’s claim to be her sister fuels her rage. She imagines Mannat threatening to take everything from her and, in a fit of anger, smashes a mirror. Mannat arrives, and Mallika accuses her of trying to steal everything — first Vikrant, now her mother. She lunges at Mannat, choking her, but Mannat pushes her away and warns her not to try it again. She’s no longer willing to stay silent.
Mallika lashes out, blaming Mannat for trying to steal Vikrant and Aishwarya. But Mannat urges her to stop overthinking — she doesn’t want Aishwarya as her mother. She knew how much it would hurt Mallika to learn the truth because she went through the same pain when she discovered Shruthi wasn’t her real mother. She assures Mallika she will never claim Aishwarya as her mother — Aishwarya is the woman who abandoned her at birth.
Mallika asks why she came then, and if she doesn’t want to be her sister. Mannat responds that she has no desire for a sister who shows no mercy, who’s willing to risk her mother’s life just to learn a secret. She tells Mallika she’s no different from Aishwarya — a daughter just like her. She says she only wanted Aishwarya to help her mom and had even decided to leave the city, but Aishwarya dragged her back.
Mallika offers to pay Mannat to leave and never contact them again. Mannat tells her she doesn’t need the money — she’s a co-partner in the restaurant and financially independent. Mallika then accuses her of trying to steal her husband. Mannat corrects her, saying Vikrant is not her husband; he was forced into the marriage. She’s only back to free him from it because she knows he never loved Mallika. Mallika vows to destroy her, but Mannat promises to expose Mallika’s true colors to everyone. Mallika retaliates by calling Mannat an illegitimate child of Aishwarya and Gagan, unlike herself, and storms off. Aishwarya arrives to speak with her, but Mallika vents her anger on her mother.
Meanwhile, Vikrant is working alone at the restaurant. Mallika calls him and urges him to come home. He complains that Mannat is absent, so he’s stuck working overnight. Later, Shruthi tells Mallika that Mannat is at the restaurant, leading Mallika to suspect Vikrant is lying to her.
At the restaurant, Vikrant scolds Mannat for being lazy and irresponsible. Mannat admits she made a mistake by leaving without informing anyone and promises to stay all night to complete her tasks. She even adds a new dessert to the menu. Vikrant helps her, and they accidentally bump into each other.
Mallika arrives with Neetu and Kiran and creates a scene, accusing Vikrant of cheating on her with Mannat. She publicly humiliates them, framing Vikrant as a betrayer. Though Vikrant is deeply hurt by the accusation, Neetu says she trusts him—but not Mannat. Mannat responds with a strong retort and leaves. Vikrant later apologizes to his mother.
Meanwhile, Puneet complains to his mother about how Vikrant and Mannat treat him. Mallika then shares her plan to trap Mannat once and for all.
