The episode begins with Vikrant confronting his family, asking how they could forget their humanity. He acknowledges their hatred for Mannat and Shruthi but reminds them that Shruthi is still recovering from surgery. How could they treat her so harshly?
Neetu blames Raveena for starting the commotion, while Raveena claims Neetu pushed her. Vikrant tells Neetu she was wrong and asks what’s come over her. He questions Kiran, saying, as the elder of the house, how could she stoop to such behavior toward Shruthi? Kiran defends herself, saying she couldn’t tolerate them crossing their limits. But Vikrant insists they’ve gone too far. He challenges them to imagine if he were in Mannat’s place—would they treat him the same way? Shruthi is already in pain, and her daughter is in jail. Trying to throw her out of the house is simply inhumane.
Watching all this, Aishwarya realizes Vikrant still cares deeply for Mannat. Even in her absence, she’s close to his heart. Determined to intervene, Aishwarya confronts Vikrant, asking why he’s still so concerned about Mannat. She reminds him that Mannat brought disgrace to their Mezbani name and insists they should focus on protecting their family’s reputation instead.
Aishwarya accuses Vikrant of caring more for Mannat than for Mallika and questions his priorities as her husband. Vikrant firmly replies that she doesn’t need to remind him of his responsibilities. Mannat is his business partner, and he gave Aishwarya the same respect and rights when she was his partner. He supported her even when Bobby was accused, standing by her until the evidence proved otherwise. He explains that his current actions are to safeguard the Mezbani name, not Mannat personally.
Aishwarya insists that Mannat is behind everything, but Vikrant challenges her—why would Mannat, who once took over shares from Aishwarya for money, throw away this opportunity? She’s in jail for attempted murder, while he’s free. Why would she frame herself to take revenge? Clearly, something isn’t right.
Despite Aishwarya’s attempts to turn him against Mannat, Vikrant warns everyone not to harm Shruthi again. He declares that if anyone tries to force Shruthi out, he’ll take the blame himself and surrender to the police. Aishwarya fumes and tells Neetu that Vikrant is blindly siding with Mannat.
Meanwhile, Mannat tries calling Shruthi, but Mallika answers the call. Mannat inquires about her mother, and Mallika switches to a video call, describing everything that has happened at home, deliberately provoking her. Mannat warns Mallika to stay away from Shruthi or face consequences. Mallika taunts her, saying she’s in no position to make threats from jail and might not even get out. She accuses Mannat of threatening to harm Shruthi and cuts the call.
Pretending to care for Shruthi in front of Vikrant, Mallika wins his gratitude. Gagan then informs Vikrant that he has already spoken to a lawyer regarding bail. Mallika, however, believes Vikrant is helping Mannat without knowing she’s Aishwarya’s illegitimate daughter.
Later, Vikrant speaks to Shruthi, who assures him that Mannat is innocent and incapable of such a crime. Vikrant apologizes for his family’s treatment of her. Shruthi says that Mannat has full faith in him. Vikrant reflects that Mannat has changed, and Shruthi mentions losing her kala dhaga (protective thread).
Elsewhere, Varun informs his boss that Aishwarya has successfully framed Mannat and that no evidence points to her. The boss replies that he’s still waiting for a lead on Sonia.
Vikrant then visits Mannat in jail. She pleads with him, saying she didn’t harm the children and has no idea how the food was poisoned. She also insists that Pintu uncle is innocent. She has no evidence to prove her innocence but swears nothing went wrong intentionally. Vikrant notices the bruises on her forehead and hand and is furious that the police assaulted her. Gagan also arrives, concerned for Mannat.
Mannat asks Gagan to take care of her mother. Later, she makes a video call to Shruthi, who praises Vikrant for looking after her. He ties a kala dhaga on Shruthi’s leg and playfully bumps heads with Mannat to remove the evil eye. Mallika watches in jealousy while Aishwarya restrains her.
After Vikrant leaves, Aishwarya and Mallika confront Mannat in jail and mock her by showing her the video. Mannat yells at them, but Mallika threatens to harm Shruthi if Mannat doesn’t transfer her shares to Aishwarya. Mannat refuses and screams that Aishwarya is her real mother. Aishwarya tries to calm her, unaware someone overhears the conversation.
Gagan tells Vikrant that he understands things aren’t easy for him. Love is essential in a marriage, and he knows Vikrant doesn’t love Mallika. Meanwhile, Aishwarya and Mallika continue to pressure Mannat into signing the documents.
