The episode begins with Namrata criticizing Malhar for not raising his daughters properly. She accuses them of tarnishing the family’s reputation and says that despite having two daughters herself, Ayushi and Aaradhya have never done anything that would force her to bow her head in shame before society. She angrily points out that Shalini eloped with Shivprasad, broke his trust, and is now accused of killing her husband for a secret lover. Namrata questions whether Shalini feels any shame for her actions and continues comparing her unfavorably to her own daughters.
Meanwhile, Manish tells Nandini that Namrata will never understand her perspective. He tries to convince Nandini to stop fighting against society on Shalini’s behalf and urges her not to take up Shalini’s case. However, Nandini firmly refuses, saying that she does not trust the allegations being made against Shalini.
Nandini insists that someone is deliberately trying to frame Shalini. She reminds everyone that Shalini gave up a luxurious life to marry the man she loved and argues that she would never betray him for another relationship.
Elsewhere, Shivprasad speaks with Balram over the phone. Determined to uncover the truth, he has begun investigating the case on his own. Balram points out several inconsistencies in the story. According to reports, Vicky Sharma had been staying in Manali. If Shalini truly had an affair with him, why did Vicky not shoot Shivprasad himself? Why did Shalini end up holding the gun? Balram advises Shivprasad to look at the matter objectively as an investigator rather than letting his personal emotions cloud his judgment.
Shivprasad agrees that these questions have been troubling him as well. He admits that he cannot understand why Shalini would shoot him. He then reveals that he had contacted Shalini the previous day. During the conversation, both Shalini and their children were in tears, and he found it heartbreaking to see them in such a state. Shivprasad also mentions that when he called, Vicky Sharma answered the phone from Shalini’s house. He wonders why Vicky was there in the first place. Balram assures him that he will investigate every detail about Vicky Sharma and reminds Shivprasad that he has always been one of the most capable officers on the team and should not lose hope.
Back at home, Manish continues to turn the family against Shalini. He questions Nandini, asking that if Shalini is truly innocent, then why was Vicky Sharma at her house. He points out that although their alleged affair was only a rumor until recently, Vicky publicly confessed his feelings for Shalini in front of everyone.

Malhar initially tries to defend his daughter, but Manish manipulates him by repeatedly questioning Shalini’s innocence. Eventually, Malhar gives in to the pressure and announces that he, too, is severing all ties with Shalini. Heartbroken by her father’s decision, Shalini breaks down. She tells Nandini that she has lost the will to live. With her husband gone and her family abandoning her, she now has to raise her two children alone. Feeling completely hopeless, she asks Nandini to leave her alone.
Later, Shivprasad disguises himself as an elderly man and continues investigating Vicky Sharma. He visits a hotel where Vicky had allegedly stayed, but the manager refuses to share any information. Determined to get answers, Shivprasad threatens him with a gun. Frightened, the manager reveals that Vicky Sharma booked a room on June 9. Shivprasad further confirms that a woman was staying with him. He shows the manager a photograph of Shalini and asks whether she was the woman in question. Before he can get a clear answer, a police inspector arrives at the hotel, forcing Shivprasad to leave immediately.
The manager later informs the inspector that a man claiming to be from a special branch had come to investigate the case. Despite his efforts, the inspector is unable to catch Shivprasad.
Meanwhile, Sheetal approaches Shivprasad and urges him to stop investigating the matter. She tells him that Shalini is not worthy of his love and asks him to move on with his life. She even goes a step further and asks him to fill her hairline with vermilion, symbolizing acceptance of her as his partner.
