The episode begins with Dilip reaching the construction site and finding it completely destroyed by fire. He breaks down and asks Suri what happened.
Suri explains that the police suspect a short circuit, but none of the machines were switched on. Dilip asks about the CCTV footage and insurance.
Suri informs him that there is no CCTV footage available and the insurance process is still pending. Devastated, Dilip says he is finished and has also dragged Pushpa into trouble. He then collapses.
Meanwhile, Pushpa tells the family that Dilip appears to be under immense pressure. Shanaya realizes that Pushpa is unaware that Dilip has mortgaged the house.
Shanaya immediately calls Shantanu and asks him to find out what exactly happened with Dilip.
Elsewhere, Kadambari tells Santosh that Pushpa will now be busy saving her house from the mortgage and will forget about fighting her case.
Bapodhara tells Susheela that Pushpa and her family look worried and suspects that something serious has happened.
Shantanu later informs Shanaya that Dilip’s construction site has burned down and everything is ruined. Shanaya worries that Pushpa’s house is now in danger.
At the site, Dilip tells Suri that he cannot face Pushpa. He fears that his family will be left on the streets and says it would be better if he dies. Suri tries to calm him down.
Soon, Pushpa and the family learn about the fire at Dilip’s construction site. Pushpa questions why Dilip hid this from them and asks how he arranged such a large amount of money to start the business.
She also asks Shanaya if she knew anything about it, but Shanaya denies knowing the truth.
Suri advises Dilip to first visit the bank and then talk to Pushpa. Dilip says his priority is saving Pushpa’s house because he will not be able to face her or his children otherwise.
Meanwhile, Kadambari watches a video of Dilip’s breakdown and enjoys seeing him suffer. She tells Santosh that she wants Pushpa to face more pain.
Elsewhere, Manva meets Maulik and scolds him for sending her flowers and a cake. She worries that Chirag might become suspicious.
Maulik says he handled the situation well and suggests that they remain friends. However, Manva warns him not to ruin her relationship with Chirag.
Maulik asks if she spoke to Chirag that day, but Manva says he is busy.
Later, Dilip and Suri meet the bank manager and receive shocking news. They have only 72 hours to repay the loan, or the bank will auction the house that Dilip mortgaged.
Dilip decides that he must finally reveal the truth to Pushpa.
Meanwhile, Shanaya requests Shantanu to help Pushpa and Dilip save the house. However, Shantanu says his money is invested in a new project and he cannot provide financial help right now.
Pushpa and her children call Dilip and ask what happened. Dilip promises to return and explain everything.
The chawl residents question Pushpa about how Dilip got the construction project. Pushpa admits that she has no idea.
When Dilip arrives at the chawl, Pushpa immediately asks him about the fire. Dilip reveals that he started the business to prove himself, but everything was destroyed in the fire.
Pushpa then asks how he arranged the money for the business. Dilip finally confesses that he mortgaged her house.
Everyone is left shocked by the revelation.
