The episode begins with Shanaya questioning Pushpa, asking, “How can you promise that I will divorce Chirag after six months?” Pushpa tells her that she is only punishing herself in an attempt to punish Chirag and reminds her that neither of them has any feelings for the other. Shanaya insists that it is her decision and refuses to divorce Chirag, vowing to take revenge. She declares that the situation has now turned into a battle between her and Pushpa. Pushpa urges her not to destroy the faith she has in her and not to prove the chawl residents right. Shanaya responds that Pushpa can never understand her pain unless she becomes her and experiences what Chirag put her through. She then tells Pushpa to focus on her own family and says that she no longer needs to think about her.
Elsewhere, Diwan refuses to help Dilip finance his business venture. Undeterred, Dilip declares that he is back in the race and will soon silence everyone with his success. Meanwhile, Bapodhara searches for his spectacles and discovers Roshan wearing them. He jokingly tells Roshan not to use them, explaining that he needs them for his eyesight, not as a fashion accessory. The two share a light-hearted moment as they tease each other. Watching them, Manva becomes emotional. Susheela sends Rohan out to play, and she and Bapodhara reassure Manva not to cry. They remind her that she will get Chirag back after six months because he can never truly love Shanaya. Manva agrees.
Later, Pushpa serves food to Chirag. Shanaya abruptly takes his plate and asks him to start planning their honeymoon. Pushpa questions her behavior, but Shanaya argues that since they are married, a trip is necessary. She asks Chirag for his credit card and sarcastically remarks that she understands no one in the family uses credit cards, so she will make the arrangements herself. The comment provokes Chirag, who grabs her hair. Shanaya retaliates by grabbing his hair as well. The family members quickly intervene and separate them. Shortly afterward, Bapodhara arrives and collects Manva’s medical card from Pushpa.
Meanwhile, Santosh informs Kadambari that he deliberately ensured Diwan refused to lend money to Dilip and also prevented him from securing funds elsewhere. Kadambari says that once Dilip faces humiliation everywhere and fails to arrange money, the darker side of his personality will emerge. She believes this will work in their favor, as they can then use him against Pushpa and her family.
Back at home, Shanaya places a wedding photograph of herself and Chirag in the hall. Pushpa asks why she is doing so. Shanaya replies that Pushpa should perform all the traditional rituals meant for her daughter-in-law. Pushpa firmly tells her that she can never take Prarthana’s place in Chirag’s heart. Shanaya responds that she has no interest in that place and walks away. Soon after, Joshipura calls Pushpa and informs her that Kadambari’s case has been reopened. Pushpa says they must find out the basis for reopening the case and ensure that Kadambari is not released from jail.
At work, Manva’s colleagues mock her failed wedding and taunt her for not getting married. Hurt by their comments, she becomes emotional. Elsewhere, the ACP hands Chirag a suspension letter. Shocked, Chirag asks for the reason behind the suspension. The ACP explains that Shantanu has filed a complaint accusing him of insulting a woman’s modesty. Chirag leaves with the suspension letter in hand.
Later, Pushpa and the family discuss Shanaya’s plans to organize a Muh Dikhai ceremony and lament how the family has become the subject of ridicule in the chawl. Chirag returns home and notices Manva crying. He asks whether she skipped work. Manva confronts him, asking why he married Shanaya. She explains that she met her former boyfriend only to tell him that she could never go back to him, yet Chirag chose to punish her through his actions. Chirag reassures her that he and Shanaya will divorce after six months and tells her not to worry. However, Manva questions what will happen if he changes his mind. She declares that she will continue living in the chawl so that he is forced to witness her pain every single day.
