The episode begins with Om speaking to a client, but his attention drifts as he notices Isha and Dhruv chatting happily nearby. The man casually comments that someday Om’s wife, too, will enjoy such luxuries in his own car—adding that women only care about money and comfort. Though the man’s words are self-serving, Om can’t ignore his growing jealousy and anger at seeing Isha and Dhruv together. Frustrated, he firmly rejects the man’s deal and walks away.
Later that night, Om is at home playing a game with his friends. He confesses that he’s come to realize one thing—money is the most important thing in life. He declares he’ll earn enough to buy Isha anything she desires. His friends, however, remind him that with his current salary, he can barely manage household expenses.
Unbeknownst to them, Gayatri has been listening. When Om notices her, he remarks sarcastically that some people will never give up the habit of eavesdropping. Gayatri fires back, saying Dhruv could easily afford to employ ten men like Om. She adds that, whether Om admits it or not, Dhruv and Isha belong to the same world—one of status and luxury—and that’s why she’s truly happy with Dhruv. Gayatri continues that if Isha had been given a choice, she would never have married someone like Om. Her words cut deep. Om’s friends try to lighten the moment, telling him not to take Gayatri seriously, as irritating others seems to be her hobby.
Later, Om enters his room and finds a pile of documents spread across the bed. Isha cheerfully shows him a new suit and asks how it looks. Om compliments it, saying it looks great and seems expensive. Curious, he asks what she’s preparing for. Isha explains she has her first meeting with foreign delegates the next day at the Lotus Palace Hotel. She adds that the suit was a gift from her father, bought at an airport. She fondly recalls how her father used to gift her luxury cars—not because she needed them, but because he loved her. Om, silently listening, feels another sting of inadequacy.
Isha then tells Om that she met Dhruv at a café earlier for a work meeting and that she’s decided to keep him informed about her daily activities at Dhruv’s office. Om assures her that he completely trusts her and only worries about her safety. While Isha drifts off to sleep peacefully, Om lies awake, restless and burdened by mounting insecurities.
Unable to sleep, Om makes a decision. He calls Rakesh and agrees to the deal he had earlier refused—but with one condition: in addition to the money, he wants Rakesh to speak to Kamal Joshi and get Isha a job in his office.
Meanwhile, seeing Isha looking confident and radiant, Gayatri becomes increasingly bitter. She arranges for a photographer to secretly capture candid moments between Isha and Dhruv, hoping the photos will reveal a closeness that might raise questions.
