The episode begins with Isha attending yet another job interview. The interviewer tells her that she’s willing to offer the position but needs to verify her background with her previous employer. She calls Gayatri for a reference, only to be informed that Isha had been accused of embezzling two lakh rupees. Shocked by the accusation, the interviewer declines to offer Isha the job.
Later that evening, a dejected Isha returns home. Seeing her upset, Gayatri, while sipping tea, asks Janki to bring a cup for Isha as well, assuming she’s been rejected again. Isha confronts Gayatri, asking what she truly wants from her and why she constantly creates obstacles in her path. Gayatri is taken aback and questions how Isha dares to speak to her that way. Isha retorts that Gayatri shouldn’t pretend to be unaware of what’s going on. Tensions escalate as an argument erupts regarding the issue of recommendations.
Suddenly, a group of men arrive at Ram Bhavan with court-issued stay orders. They inform the family that legal permission has been granted to begin construction on the property. Jagdish tells Acharya that their client has issued a “notice of no intent,” meaning they no longer wish to reclaim their money and instead plan to build on the land. The lawyer instructs his team to begin taking measurements. Overwhelmed, Acharya declares that no one will touch the house as long as he’s alive, but the stress takes a toll on his health, and he begins to feel unwell. Jagdish pleads with the lawyer for some time, explaining that Acharya is ill.
Om consoles Acharya, assuring him they’ll find a solution and will not let Ram Bhavan slip from their hands. After the lawyer leaves, both Acharya and Janki turn to Gayatri, begging her to help save the house. Gayatri responds that there’s no need to plead—Ram Bhavan is close to her heart, and she won’t let it be taken from them. However, she adds one condition: Om must give up his share of the house and transfer it to her name.
Om is stunned by the demand and says only someone like her could speak of such conditions during a crisis. Jagdish also questions Gayatri’s intentions, but she stands firm, saying she won’t change her mind. She explains that since she’s about to drain her bank account to help save the house, she needs a form of security—if anything happens to her, she wants to ensure that neither Jagdish nor Nysa can walk away from the property without settling the debts.
In response, Om tells Jagdish that if they are unable to arrange the required money within the next 48 hours, he will relinquish his share of the house.
