The episode begins with Ishaan reminding Nayanika that even Dr. Raj had said Ujjaini’s condition was only in its initial stage. Nayanika replies that Ujjaini is still in her first year, making the situation even more sensitive. Ishaan assures her that he is ready to take full responsibility for Ujjaini. He says that their paths crossed because the universe wanted them to meet. Curious, Nayanika asks him why he loves her so deeply. Ishaan admits that he has no answer but knows that Nayanika holds a very special place in his life. Nayanika tells him that if he had said these things to the younger version of her, she would have believed every word. However, after facing countless hardships in life, she no longer believes in such promises. Ishaan tells her that she does not have to believe him because he is simply expressing his feelings. Nayanika then asks why he gets angry so easily. Smiling, Ishaan replies that he is an adult. Soon, they arrive at his house.
Elsewhere, Angana tells Neil that Nayanika had lied about attending a seminar and had actually gone to meet Ishaan. She says that Ena, a member of Sairaab, revealed everything to her. Neil suggests that Ishaan may have invited Nayanika to discuss song lyrics. Angana sarcastically remarks that Nayanika simply wants to become famous. She also questions why Nayanika would stay in a stranger’s house. Hearing this, Neil becomes upset with Angana. Angana then tells him that Ujjaini is deeply hurt. Wanting to know the truth, Neil decides to verify whether Nayanika had actually attended a seminar in Mumbai. He calls one of Nayanika’s seniors and confirms that the seminar did take place. Angana then suggests they visit the Basu house, and Neil agrees.
Back at his home, Ishaan shows Nayanika her room. Nayanika tells him that she cannot stay there for too many days and says she can continue her treatment in Kolkata as well. She adds that she will return only if it becomes necessary. Ishaan is delighted to hear this and asks her to promise. Nayanika refuses, leaving him disappointed. She then asks whether he has any plans for the next day. Ishaan tells her that he has no programs scheduled.
Nayanika says she wants to see the ocean. Ishaan happily promises to take her there. He asks her to get some rest while he prepares something delicious for her to eat. Nayanika tells him not to go to so much trouble because she is perfectly fine with simple food. Ishaan replies that she is special to him, so he wants to make something equally special. Touched by his concern, Nayanika says that no one has ever cared for her this much. Ishaan smiles and says he is happy that he gets to do all these things for her for the very first time before leaving the room. Later, Nayanika spends some time writing poetry while Ishaan cooks a meal for her.
Meanwhile, Neil informs Ujjaini that he has confirmed Nayanika really did attend a seminar in Mumbai. Ujjaini coldly replies that she never asked him to investigate. Indrani says that Nayanika has not spoken to her since leaving for Mumbai. Grandpa asks what is wrong if Nayanika met Ishaan, suggesting that she may have gone to discuss song lyrics. Shreya questions why Nayanika needed to stay at Ishaan’s house. Ujjaini then asks everyone to stop referring to Nayanika as the family’s daughter-in-law, insisting that she no longer belongs to the family.
On the other hand, Nayanika enjoys the meal prepared by Ishaan and praises it for being delicious, making him happy. She then reads aloud the poem she has written.
