The episode begins with Ujjaini informing Nayanika about what Neil said regarding her health. Indrani asks if Nayanika had consulted Neil, to which Nayanika denies. Indrani wonders why Neil would think something is wrong when Nayanika appears completely fine and is even excited about going to Mumbai. Ujjaini explains that Neil is a specialist, so he may have noticed some changes in Nayanika’s condition. She then leaves. Indrani remarks that Neil is different, while Jaya blames him for Nayanika’s sadness. Shreya questions whether Neil was wrong to show concern for her, but Nayanika firmly states that Neil no longer has the right to care about her.
On the other side, Ishaan writes in his diary about his visit to children suffering from cancer. He wishes Nayanika could accompany him the next day but knows it will remain only a dream.
Later, Ujjaini approaches Nayanika and asks for extra pocket money, saying her friend’s birthday is coming up. Nayanika remembers and hands her an envelope. She also asks Ujjaini not to worry if her return is delayed. Ujjaini asks if she has not booked her return tickets, and Nayanika replies that the hospital will handle it. Ujjaini says she cannot stay without her, while Nayanika explains that the stay might extend beyond two days. She asks Ujjaini to return soon, and Nayanika agrees. Ujjaini again asks if she is really fine, mentioning that Neil had said otherwise.
Nayanika insists she is only tired and will be fine soon. Ujjaini says she wants to sleep beside her that night and hugs her tightly. She recalls how Shisho respects and cares deeply for Nayanika and even accompanied her when she met Neil. She wonders why Neil would hurt someone he supposedly loves. She even suggests that Neil might still love Nayanika, but Nayanika replies that she does not want anyone’s love anymore. Ujjaini lovingly calls her her little baby for the day and sings a lullaby for her, reminiscing about her childhood moments with Nayanika. Eventually, Nayanika falls asleep. Ujjaini emotionally thinks that she has no one except Nayanika and prays for her quick recovery.
The next morning, Nayanika gets ready and kisses Ujjaini on the forehead. Rusha asks her to have breakfast before leaving, and Nayanika becomes emotional seeing her wake up early for her. Rusha says Nayanika is no less than a son of the house and adds that Indrani would have prepared everything if any son were leaving like this. Nayanika jokingly says Rusha must have been her mother in her past life and asks her to take care of Ujjaini if anything happens to her. Rusha is startled and asks why she is speaking like that, questioning if she is fine. Nayanika lies that she is fine. Rusha tells her not to speak about death and asks her to call once she reaches Mumbai. Nayanika hugs her and promises she will eat at the airport before leaving.
Meanwhile, Bishu asks Ishaan to come home for lunch, but Ishaan refuses, saying he has to visit the cancer hospital and may even skip dinner. Bishu jokingly threatens to leave the house one day, and Ishaan replies that he will book him a business class ticket. Later, Nayanika decides to visit the cancer hospital after the seminar.
