The episode begins with Maama quietly approaching a sleeping Dil, intending to harm her. Just then, Lata enters and stops him, saying, “I understand you’re worried about Dil after your sister’s death, but don’t worry—we’re here to take care of her.” He responds coldly, instructing Lata to make Dil believe her mother is gone and will never return. Lata reluctantly agrees, and he walks away.
The next morning, Lata wakes up and discovers that Dil is missing from her room. Meanwhile, Ram spots Dil outside and asks where she’s going. Dil replies confidently, “We’re going to find my mother. I know she’s alive.” She tells him they’re heading to the police station to file a missing person’s report.
At the police station, the inspector questions their purpose. Dil explains, “I learned in school that we must file a report when someone goes missing. My mother is missing—please register the complaint.” She stares at the wall of missing persons, clearly heartbroken. The inspector tells her she must bring her father for the report to proceed. Dil responds, “I don’t know who my father is. My mother went looking for him and never came back. Please help me.”
Meanwhile, Natasha and her mother Padmini watch the news, shocked to learn that Raghav didn’t perform at the concert. Enraged, Padmini blames Raghav for tarnishing the family’s reputation and vows to throw him and his family out of the house. Just then, Raghav’s mother intervenes, saying, “Raghav has already sacrificed so much for this family. He won’t let anything happen to his daughter or us. Trust him.”
Back at the station, Maama arrives to sign Nandini’s death certificate. He spots Dil and quickly tries to discredit her, claiming Nandini drowned in the Sarayu River and that Dil is not to be trusted. The inspector, however, remains open-minded. “Let’s at least try to help,” he says, agreeing to file the complaint—but asks Dilip to bring Dil’s father for more details.
Elsewhere, Raghav dreams of Nandini and wakes up startled, slipping slightly. Natasha confronts him, demanding, “Who are you dreaming about? Wake up! Who is this Nandini you keep mumbling about?” Raghav, visibly shaken, walks away without a word.
Frustrated by Dil’s persistence, Maama makes a shady phone call: “Dil is a superstar singer. Take her—and give me the money.”
Later, Baba Ji advises Dil, “Find your father. He’s the key to reuniting with your mother.”
