The episode opens with Raghav playing the guitar, lost in thought as he recalls Natasha’s warning: he should only come to Shanaya when he can give her his complete and undivided attention. His gaze falls on Shanaya’s photo, teetering on the edge, about to fall.
Meanwhile, Dil wrestles with whether to reveal the truth. She decides to leave the decision to fate, playing a game—and the result tells her she should speak out.
Chandan walks in to find Raghav holding Shanaya’s photo. He remarks on Raghav’s deep love for her, questioning why he placed such a condition on her. Raghav defends himself, saying all the adults have been hiding the truth from him, leaving him no choice. Chandan reminds him Shanaya is still a child, but Raghav confesses that a mysterious voice keeps urging him to seek it out—or it will remain unknown forever. When Chandan tells him to calm down, Raghav retorts that it’s impossible when everyone expects his silence while keeping secrets from him.
Elsewhere, Dil spots her uncle searching for her and hides. Manu thinks she’s seen someone and instructs the guards to investigate. Her uncle, meanwhile, fears being caught by the police before finding her.
At home, Saloni argues with Raghav’s mother for breaking her promise to go shopping and instead visiting her friend Gupta Ji. Raghav’s mother quotes the Bhagavad Gita, saying it is right to break a promise if it serves a greater cause. Overhearing this, Dil resolves to tell Raghav the truth.
She approaches him and notices his injured hand. Fetching bandages and turmeric from the kitchen, she tends to his wound. Her words remind Raghav of Nandini, softening his mood. She compliments his voice, and he suggests they play the piano together. Seeing him struggle with one hand, she joins in to help, and he is moved by her presence.
In another part of the house, Maama hears the melody and recognises it as Nandini’s song, suspecting Dil is there. Natasha also comes upstairs and finds Dil and Raghav playing together. Raghav praises Dil’s piano skills and urges her to sing, convinced she has a voice worth hearing.
Just then, Natasha gets a call from the school—Shanaya is upset and needs a parent. Natasha claims she’s far from home and tells them to call Shanaya’s father instead.
Raghav begins singing Tu Dhadkan Hai and invites Dil to join. Before she can, he receives the school’s call, learns Shanaya is crying, and rushes out.
Natasha seizes the opportunity to speak to Dil. Dil apologises, but Natasha tells her there’s no need—she didn’t sing. Natasha says her mother has called and is fine, then asks Dil to promise not to tell Raghav the truth or sing in front of him, promising in return to arrange a meeting with her mother. Dil accuses her of lying, claiming she doesn’t even know her mother and only wants to keep her away from Raghav. Natasha denies this and produces one of Nandini’s belongings, taken from her own bag, to convince Dil she truly knows her.
