The episode begins with Dil telling Nandini, “I’m your Dil, and you’re my Dhadkan.” Nandini smiles and says she has grown up. Dil teases her, saying she has become budhi (old) because she hasn’t been attending school. Nandini reassures her that once they return to Raunakpur, she can rejoin. Dil admits she is scared of Maama, but Nandini comforts her. Curious, Dil asks how Nandini vanished all this time. Nandini explains about her accident and coma, adding, “The moment I opened my eyes, I started searching for you.”
Dil then requests her to sing a song. As Nandini sings, Raghav overhears and remembers her words. Filled with guilt, he thinks, “Forgive me, Nandini. I deserve this punishment.” He quietly enters Dil’s room and sees Nandini putting her to sleep with the lullaby. When Nandini turns to switch off the light, she notices Raghav at the doorway. They lock eyes, reliving old memories. Nandini recalls how Raghav broke his promise of returning to Raunakpur and, hurt, shuts the door on his face. Raghav’s mother witnesses his pain.
Meanwhile, Natasha visits Maama in jail, hands him a blank cheque, and orders him to remove Nandini and Dil from her house. Maama smirks and agrees, “Deal done.”
The next morning, Nandini wakes Dil, who excitedly says, “Today I’m going to spend a day with Dad—I’m so happy!” She assures Nandini not to be upset, promising they can leave for Raunakpur afterward. Raghav’s mother brings him black coffee. Thrilled, Raghav says he can’t wait to spend time with his daughter. His mother admits, “I made mistakes with you and Nandini, and now you’re paying the price.” Raghav consoles her.
Later, Raghav surprises Dil and Shanaya with balloons, cheerfully declaring them his friends. Shanaya points out, “Dil is your daughter, not me.” But Raghav lovingly replies, “You’re both my daughters—I love you equally.” He then steps out to arrange a vehicle for their picnic.
Just then, Maama arrives and kidnaps both Shanaya and Dil. Natasha panics and begs him to release them, but he silences her and holds the children at knifepoint. Raghav and the family rush in, pleading for their safety. Maama drags the girls into a room and locks the door. Inside, Dil consoles a terrified Shanaya, assuring her not to be afraid. The two hug tightly. Outside, Raghav bangs on the door, promising the girls he will save them.
Raghav demands to know Maama’s terms. Maama demands ₹2 crores in cash. Nandini begs him to release the children, but he cruelly says he will free Dil while keeping Shanaya for more money. Dil shouts, “She is my sister!”
Raghav agrees to arrange the ransom. Nandini reveals the shocking truth—that Maama is her brother, Gautham—and warns Raghav not to trust him. Furious, Raghav warns, “If you harm my children, you will be finished.” Meanwhile, Shanaya bravely tries to unlock the door, but Maama, enraged, hurls a knife at her.
