Ira questions how Aparajita can expect Rakshit to remain her friend after Malti slapped Sudha.
Vivaan tells Aparajita that if she has any self-respect, she should leave.
Ira says Malti is just as delusional as Aparajita.
Aparajita warns Ira not to say another word against her family.
She tells Ira that although she loves Rakshit, he does not love her, and that is her problem.
Aparajita adds that Ira’s frustration comes from the fact that Rakshit and Aparajita are close friends.
Ira says there is no point arguing with Aparajita and walks away.
Vivaan also leaves.
Dubey approaches Aparajita and asks if she needs any help.
Aparajita asks whether he also wants her to leave.
Dubey says he feels sorry for her but cannot go against company rules.
Aparajita then asks him for a copy of her contract.
Dubey hands over the contract letter.
Meanwhile, Malti returns home.
Ramgopal reminds her that Aparajita had already warned society would never easily accept a divorced woman.
Just then, Urmila arrives and scolds Malti for slapping Sudha.
She says Malti has ruined everything and declares that she will now find a good groom for Rashmi instead.
After Urmila leaves, Malti decides she must do something.
Aparajita walks into Rakshit’s cabin with her contract.
Rakshit repeats that she has been fired.
Aparajita points out that, according to the contract, he cannot remove her immediately.
She reminds him that she must serve a 90-day notice period.
Aparajita says he may want to leave her, but she will not leave him.
She declares that she is returning to work because she is simply following the rules.
Deep inside, she feels shattered at the thought of staying away from him.

Rakshit asks Dubey which fool drafted such a contract.

He cannot bear to see either of them in pain.
Later, Aparajita notices Rakshit sneezing and quietly offers him some Vicks.
Without looking up, Rakshit uses it, thinking Ira had given it to him.
When he realizes it is Aparajita, he asks why she entered without his permission.
Aparajita says she caught a cold after getting drenched in the rain, and now he has caught one too.
Rakshit tells her to leave and focus on her work instead of disturbing him.
Aparajita replies that no one is assigning her any work.
Rakshit says there is nothing he can do and advises her to resign.
Aparajita firmly refuses.
Later, Aparajita leaves the office and sees Rakshit waiting in his car.
She tries to get into the car, but Ira taunts her and gets in first.
Vivaan also arrives and mocks Aparajita.
Aparajita reminds Vivaan that he is still after Aradhya even though she is engaged to Rohan.
Vivaan says Aradhya does not love Rohan and is being forced into the marriage by her family.
He adds that he already told Aradhya not to contact him, yet she keeps calling.
Vivaan shows Aparajita Aradhya’s incoming call.
Aparajita asks him to answer it on speaker.
Aradhya asks Vivaan why he is angry with her over Malti’s mistake.
She is shocked to realize that Aparajita has heard everything.
Later, Aparajita returns home and slaps Aradhya.
Aradhya admits that she and Vivaan love each other.
Aparajita accuses her of loving Vivaan’s wealth, not him.
Aradhya questions why she should ruin her life by marrying a middle-class man like Rohan.
