The episode begins with Abhira stunned to see Arman and Geetanjali together. At the same time, Anshuman, who is searching for Abhira, is equally shocked when he spots them. Arman too freezes in disbelief upon seeing Abhira and Anshuman there. The pandit questions Abhira about her relationship with Arman and Geetanjali. Abhira replies that she isn’t certain but strongly feels there is some connection. She then hands her bangles to Geetanjali and walks away. Arman tries to follow her, but Geetanjali stops him, reminding him that Anshuman is there for her.
Later, Digambar meets Geetanjali and insists on speaking to her privately. Though Geetanjali says he can talk in front of Arman, Digambar takes her aside and asks if she has taken advantage of Arman’s goodness. Geetanjali defends herself, saying she has done nothing wrong by marrying Arman. She explains that after losing Myra, she couldn’t bear the thought of losing Arman too, and pleads with Digambar to accept her marriage.
Arman decides to accompany Geetanjali and Digambar to Mount Abu, but Digambar refuses. He tells Arman to stay with his family while he takes Geetanjali along, asking Arman to come for her later. Digambar reminds them that the phagfera ritual is meant to teach a girl the difference between right and wrong. Reluctantly, Arman agrees and lets Geetanjali leave with Digambar.
Meanwhile, Abhira struggles with her emotions and misses Arman deeply. To comfort her, Anshuman shares old memories of her and Arman. Overwhelmed with pain, Abhira decides to burn them, but Anshuman consoles her. Elsewhere, Vidya worries about Arman and Abhira, while Tanya complains that no one seems concerned about Anshuman. Manisha reassures her that everyone is being looked after, but Tanya accuses Arman and Abhira of breaking Anshuman’s heart.
Later, Abhira apologizes to Anshuman for not speaking to him properly. Anshuman encourages her and gently asks why she hides behind a fake smile. Abhira admits she has to appear strong whenever Arman is around. She and Anshuman then promise to remain friends forever. Abhira also resolves to tell Myra about Arman and Geetanjali’s marriage.
But just as things seem to settle, tragedy strikes. Anshuman suddenly collapses from a heart attack in front of Abhira. A doctor at the restaurant confirms that Anshuman is no more. Abhira is left shattered and numb by the sudden loss.
