The episode opens with Armaan deeply emotional, burdened by the heavy secret he’s been hiding from Abhira — that Maira (Pookie) is alive and with him. While Abhira believes he’s grieving the loss of their child, Armaan is consumed with guilt, knowing he’s concealing the truth. Overwhelmed, he decides it’s time to confess everything to her, regardless of the consequences.
Just then, Armaan receives a video call from Dadu, who shows him a clip of Geetanjali and Maira in a heated argument with a woman and her child. Armaan asks what happened. Dadu explains that the woman’s vehicle brushed past Maira, and during the confrontation, the child pushed Maira down. Dadu urges Armaan to step in.
Armaan tells Maira to calm down, but she refuses, upset that someone dared to argue with her mother, Geetanjali. He then tries to reason with Geetanjali, who replies firmly that in Armaan’s absence, Maira is her responsibility. Eventually, the woman and her child apologize and leave. Armaan ends the call, conflicted.
Torn between telling the truth and protecting Maira, who considers Geetanjali her mother, Armaan prepares to leave. He feels that his presence has only brought pain into Abhira’s life and decides against revealing the truth.
As he packs, Abhira asks him to stay until her mother’s surgery is over. Armaan confesses his past mistake from seven years ago but insists he cannot stay. Sensing something is wrong, Abhira questions if he’s leaving because of another woman. Armaan admits that Maira is now a part of his life. Holding back her emotions, Abhira responds that at least he cares about that girl. Armaan silently walks away.
Meanwhile, Kajal and Manisha send food for Vidya. Krish questions their gesture, reminding them how poorly Armaan treated him. Kiara walks in and announces that Armaan and Abhira are divorced. She confirms this, adding that Dadi herself revealed the truth.
Later, Abhira and Kaveri bring Vidya home post-surgery. Unaware of the recent developments, Vidya excitedly asks for Armaan, thinking he planned a surprise. She calls out to him. Kaveri tries to distract her by mentioning the food Kajal and Manisha sent. Vidya grows anxious, fearing Armaan has left again. Just then, Armaan arrives with a gift — a pair of earbuds. Relieved, Vidya says she’s glad he didn’t leave. Emotionally moved, Abhira reflects that someone recently reminded her how many hearts she’s already broken and that she shouldn’t break more.
When Abhira receives a work call, she declines to go, but Vidya, Kaveri, and Armaan encourage her. She places her phone on the table and leaves.
Armaan notices the phone and calls after her, but she’s already gone. At that moment, Geetanjali enters, catching him off guard. He asks why she’s there and whether Maira is alone. Geetanjali says nothing. Armaan apologizes. Vidya hears voices and asks who’s there. Kaveri sees Geetanjali and is stunned. Geetanjali touches Vidya’s feet for blessings and introduces herself, assuming Armaan must have told them about her. Kaveri curtly replies that he hasn’t.
Armaan then introduces Geetanjali as his fiancée. Geetanjali takes Kaveri’s blessings, and Kaveri responds with biting sarcasm, saying she hopes Armaan stays with Geetanjali forever and never looks back. Geetanjali offers sweets for “Maa” but quickly corrects herself to “Aunty.” Kaveri accepts them without warmth.
Vidya inquires about Maira. Geetanjali lies, saying she’s away on a school trip and apologizes for dropping by unannounced. Vidya responds curtly, saying Geetanjali should’ve considered that beforehand, and coolly asks how much sugar she wants in her tea. Meanwhile, Armaan notices Anshuman’s name flashing on Abhira’s phone.
Anshuman visits Abhira and asks why she’s been avoiding his calls and didn’t inform him about Vidya’s surgery. He lightens the mood by teasing her for studying legal documents so seriously, then quickly apologizes and greets her properly.
Back home, Armaan confronts Geetanjali for sending Maira on a school trip without informing him. She assures him that Dadu went with her and that everything is fine. She says she came in case there were complications with Vidya. Realizing he still hasn’t introduced her to the family, she quietly lets it go.
Meanwhile, Vidya tells Kaveri to make it clear to Geetanjali that she’ll never accept her as a daughter-in-law. Kaveri calmly replies that the fault lies more with Armaan than with Geetanjali.
Elsewhere, Abhira questions Anshuman’s early return. He tells her he missed her and didn’t want her to face everything alone. When she changes the topic to work, he insists on meeting Vidya. She warns him that Armaan is at home too and reflects aloud on the mess her life has become. Still, Anshuman says he wants to be a part of her world and learn if he can adapt to it.
Back at home, Armaan apologizes to Geetanjali for his earlier reaction and thanks her for the sweets. She brushes it off and admires the house. She notices a lawyer’s coat and curiously asks who it belongs to, since the rest of the family is in business.
Later, Abhira again questions why Anshuman wants to stay involved despite the mess. He answers that he wants to see her world up close — to understand whether he can truly be part of it.
Kaveri confronts Armaan for bringing Geetanjali into the house without thinking about Abhira’s feelings. Armaan quietly asks for forgiveness. Kaveri warns that even if not for Abhira’s sake, he should’ve considered how Geetanjali would feel seeing his first wife in that home. Just then, Geetanjali overhears the conversation, drops a glass in shock, and stands frozen — heartbroken.
In the final scene, Anshuman and Abhira ride a bicycle together, making their way back to her home.
