The episode begins with Dev being shocked after discovering that Dadi has been pretending to be ill so that Uditanshu and Gehna can spend time together. He later remarks that Dadi ended up becoming genuinely sick while trying to unite them. When Dadi asks what he means, Dev reminds her that she has been eating mud and comments on her unusual behavior.
Meanwhile, Gehna tells Uditanshu that she came to Mumbai to participate in a contest and fulfill her dream of becoming a top influencer. She requests that he not reveal her ambition to Dadi, and Uditanshu agrees to keep it a secret.
Dev arranges for Dadi to undergo an MRI scan, which reveals a solid mass in her stomach. He soon uncovers the real reason behind her illness.
Later, Dev meets Vani and informs her that he has solved Dadi’s case. He explains that Dadi is suffering from Pica, an eating disorder that causes people to consume non-food items. Shristi overhears their conversation and confronts Dev, asking why Dadi walks backward and constantly sees double. Dev replies that he will explain everything in front of everyone. Shristi remarks that Dev always likes to keep people in suspense before leaving.
Dev subsequently gathers the doctors and explains that Dadi has Pica, which is why she has been eating mud and other inedible substances. Gehna then asks about Dadi’s claims of walking backward and seeing double. Dev reveals that Dadi was lying because she desperately wants a grandchild. Raunak points out that Uditanshu would need to be married for that to happen, prompting Uditanshu to quickly make an excuse and change the subject.
Later, Uditanshu hugs Dadi as the doctors explain her condition. They tell her that the mud accumulated in her stomach must be surgically removed. However, Dadi refuses the operation and tells Uditanshu that she does not want the mud removed. She also asks him to name his future son Brijesh, and he agrees. Realizing that her condition is worsening, the doctors decide that immediate surgery is necessary and take her to the operating room.
Dev comforts Uditanshu and later confronts him about Gehna. He points out that Dadi came there solely to bring him and Gehna closer. Uditanshu admits that he has no romantic feelings for Gehna and only married her due to family pressure so that he could continue studying medicine. Unbeknownst to them, Gehna overhears the conversation. Dev reminds Uditanshu that Gehna is his wife and may have certain expectations from their relationship. Gehna, however, clarifies that she expects nothing from him except the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
Later, Dev asks Uditanshu and Gehna about Brijesh. Uditanshu explains that Brijesh was his uncle, who sacrificed his life while serving the country ten years ago. Gehna adds that someone recently delivered a letter from Brijesh to Dadi, and since then, Dadi has been constantly talking about him. She then recounts the entire incident to Dev and Uditanshu.
