The episode begins with Vaani telling Abhir that she wants to wait for Dr. Dev to remember their love and give their relationship another chance. Abhir encourages her to wait with hope and a smile rather than in pain, as he cannot bear to see her suffer. Vaani shares that Girish Sir has started a new treatment for Dev and hopes it will help him recover the memories he has lost.
Meanwhile, Uditanshu informs Sunny that Rony has a brain lesion. Sunny sarcastically remarks that he can already see it and questions whom Uditanshu is trying to explain it to. As Uditanshu fumbles for excuses, he is caught. Sunny instructs him to administer Rony’s medication only after consulting a neurologist. He then asks Dev whether he has been taking the medicines prescribed by Girish, and Dev confirms that he has.
Later, Uditanshu runs after Ananya, leaving his wife upset. Dev notices her distress and tries to comfort her. She questions whether marriage is truly such a strong bond, asking why his marriage with Srishti fell apart if that is the case. Dev responds that legal papers cannot end a marriage and admits that his heart still holds Srishti’s memories.
After reviewing Srishti’s reports, Sunny diagnoses her with neuropathy. Patil explains that the condition affects her senses, which is why she is unable to feel pain properly and has weakened reflexes. Sunny and Dev insist that Srishti be admitted to the hospital, but she refuses. Dev urges her not to avoid treatment, but Srishti explains that Jia has only recently recovered and she does not want to alarm her again. Dev reminds her that he cannot let her put her life at risk and asks her not to run away from treatment.
Srishti further explains that she does not want Jia to learn about her illness because Jia had told her that morning she wanted to study at home with her. She fears that another emotional shock could trigger Jia’s condition again, and Jia’s doctor agrees with her concern. Srishti proposes a compromise, suggesting that she undergo treatment at the hospital during the day and return home at night. Dev offers that everyone stay together at home, but Srishti declines the idea. Patil then requests Vaani to stay at Srishti’s house and look after her, and Vaani readily agrees. As Digvijay takes exceptional care of Srishti, Dev cannot hide his jealousy.
Later, Dev tells Girish that Vaani is truly a gem of a person. Girish replies that this is exactly why Dev had fallen in love with her. However, Dev insists that he is no longer the man Vaani loved. Girish agrees, saying he is not the old “Kaddos” anymore. He reminds Dev that he has forgotten eight years of his life and refuses to believe that he had moved on from Srishti and fallen in love with Vaani. According to Girish, Dev is still trapped in the past and unfairly blamed Vaani.
Dev later meets Vaani and thanks her for helping Srishti. He apologizes for never trying to understand her side of the story and for judging her without knowing the truth. Admitting that the current situation is the result of his own actions, he sincerely seeks her forgiveness. Vaani tells him that she deliberately kept the truth hidden because she never wanted his love out of sympathy. Instead, he chose to see her as the villain. Refusing to accept his apology, she walks away.
At the hospital, a nurse asks Srishti not to move her hand and tells her to call if she needs anything. Srishti jokingly remarks that the nurse is giving instructions to a doctor. Soon, Vaani arrives, and Srishti thanks her for agreeing to stay at her house and take care of her. Vaani informs her that Dev has already thanked and apologized to her.
Later, Jia calls Srishti, asking why she is not in her cabin and why the nurse mentioned that she was on a drip. Srishti reassures Jia that she is perfectly fine and says the nurse must have misunderstood the situation. Seeing Jia nearby, Dev asks Digvijay to keep her distracted for a while. He then quietly wheels Srishti, who is still on the drip, back to her cabin. When Jia asks Digvijay what happened to her mother, he reassures her that nothing is wrong and explains that Srishti is simply out on her hospital rounds.
