The episode begins with Ishaan calling Nayanika to check on her health. Noticing the sadness in her voice, he asks what Ena told her. Nayanika responds by asking him not to treat her like a teenager. Ishaan assures her that there is no one else in his life and that he has no personal relationship with Ena. He insists that he is not a liar and wants her to know the truth.
Nayanika asks what difference that information is supposed to make. Ishaan tells her that he is neither a cheater nor someone she should regret trusting. However, Nayanika reminds him that she has already made it clear that she is uncomfortable discussing personal matters. She then disconnects the call.
Left alone with her thoughts, Nayanika wonders if she has very little time left and feels that she may have to continue living with her pain. Meanwhile, Ishaan believes that one day Nayanika will understand that his love for her is genuine.
Elsewhere, Angana tells Neil that she has heard Nayanika is unwell and that Ishaan is going out of his way to help her. She also mentions hearing that Ujjaini has a boyfriend. Neil asks Angana not to make assumptions about Ujjaini simply because she is upset with her. He reminds her that he is Ujjaini’s father and understands the pain she is going through. Angana says she will not comment further. Neil then remarks that Nayanika would never tolerate injustice.
Meanwhile, Ishaan talks about organizing shows for children. Ena points out that he has recently been doing many programs related to social causes. Ishaan asks whether she has a problem with that. Ena replies that he should not make himself so easily available to everyone.
At home, Baba asks Nayanika about her upcoming seminar. She explains that it will last for two days. Shreya wonders whether Nayanika plans to travel to Mumbai alone, while Rusha points out that she has done so before. Indrani, however, worries that Nayanika is unwell and questions how she will manage by herself. She suggests taking Ujjaini along.
Nayanika refuses, saying that Ujjaini needs to focus on her exams. Shreya then asks whether Nayanika will stay somewhere special this time, considering Ishaan lives in Mumbai. She suggests that Ishaan will surely invite her to stay at his house. Nayanika firmly states that she will not abandon her work to stay at Ishaan’s house. Shreya accuses her of overreacting, but Nayanika asks her not to insult her and to think before speaking. Upset, she walks away.
The next day, Rusha advises Nayanika not to do any kitchen work. Nayanika assures her that she is feeling better now.
Meanwhile, Ishaan finds himself thinking about Nayanika. In his imagination, she appears beside him as he talks about performing for children battling cancer. He imagines singing and dancing with her, but the vision soon fades away. Later, Ishaan writes in his diary, reflecting on how much he misses Nayanika. He wonders whether she would be angry if he asked Ujjaini about her health.
Elsewhere, Ujjaini asks Shirsho why he likes her. Shirsho admits that although he comes from a village, she has always stood up for him and defended him. Ujjaini says that does not make her special. Shirsho disagrees and tells her that she has become very special to him and that he genuinely loves her.
Ujjaini confesses that she wants to believe in love, but she finds it difficult after witnessing everything Nayanika has gone through.
Meanwhile, Nayanika recalls Shikha advising her to undergo cancer-related tests in Mumbai. At home, Indrani complains about both Nayanika and Ujjaini while speaking to Neil. Nayanika overhears the conversation from the kitchen.
Indrani then asks Nayanika to bring food for Neil. Concerned, Neil questions why Nayanika is working in the kitchen despite being unwell. He asks her what exactly happened to her. At that moment, Indrani urges Nayanika to tell Neil about the medical tests.
