The episode begins with Sonal requesting Ved to speak with Aarti. Ved agrees and calls Aarti. Introducing himself, he tells her that he is her fiancé. Aarti admits she doesn’t know how to talk to a marriage prospect and nervously asks if he has a girlfriend. She continues talking non-stop, which irritates Ved. Eventually, he tells her to shut up. Offended, Aarti lashes out at him, reminding him that they are engaged and demanding that he teach her what love means. Ved responds sarcastically and ends the call. Aarti, annoyed, thinks Ved is extremely rude and wonders why Ganesh chose him as her match.
Later, Aarti boards a train and calls Padma to check whether Anjali has eaten. Padma says Anjali refuses to eat without her. She’s trying to feed her, but Anjali won’t even open her mouth. Aarti asks her to hold the phone near Anjali. Speaking softly, Aarti pleads with Anjali to eat for her sake and reminds her of her dream to become a great reporter. Moved by her words, Anjali finally agrees to eat. Padma feeds her, then tells Aarti, who ends the call feeling relieved.
Aarti reflects on how she’s about to begin a new chapter of life through marriage. Meanwhile, a goon is watching her on the train. He calls Ved’s uncle to inform him he has eyes on Aarti. Ved’s uncle instructs him to follow her and kill her when the opportunity arises. The goon agrees to the plan.
Once Aarti reaches her destination, she video calls Padma to confirm her safe arrival. Aarti then shares her excitement about covering a new story and making a name for herself as a journalist. As Padma and Ganesh walk down the street, they chat with Aarti about wedding shopping. Suddenly, a car nearly hits Padma, and she drops her phone in shock. Abhay steps out of the car, followed by Sadhika and Mehek. Sadhika approaches Padma and says she’s seeing her after 21 years. Padma replies that she’s fine.
Meanwhile, Aarti calls out to Padma through the phone. Abhay picks it up, but Padma takes it from him and ends the call, saying they’ll talk later. As Padma gets ready to leave, Stepney asks her to pick up the fallen bags and tells Abhay to help since the bags fell because of them.
