The episode begins with Kali escaping from the goons. As she runs, she passes by Ved. Pratap quickly instructs his men to catch her, and they begin chasing her down.
Elsewhere, Aarti is traveling in an auto while talking to Laal on a call. She informs him that she has recorded the entire human trafficking operation, exposing how women are being sold.
Suddenly, Aarti notices Kali being chased by the goons on the road. Excited by the unfolding scene, she tells Laal that she’s stumbled upon another sensational story and asks him to end the call. She then instructs the auto driver to start recording the incident.
Without hesitation, Aarti intervenes, fights off the goons, and rescues Kali. She assures Kali that she’ll take her to the police station for safety. Just then, Padma calls Aarti and tells her that Anjali is refusing to eat. Aarti says she’ll call back once she reaches the police station and ends the call, taking Kali along with her.
Upon reaching the police station, Aarti is informed by a constable that the inspector is away at a mehfil. Growing suspicious, Aarti soon notices the same goons arriving at the station, likely searching for Kali. Thinking quickly, she covers Kali’s face and quietly sneaks her out before they can see her.
Meanwhile, Padma continues trying to feed Anjali, but she refuses to eat. Aarti calls Padma again and asks if Anjali is still not eating. Padma confirms she isn’t. Aarti gently says she knows Anjali won’t eat until she hears her voice. Aarti then speaks to Anjali, lovingly urging her to eat, and sings a Lohri song for her. Moved by this, Anjali finally agrees to eat.
Later, Aarti tells Kali that her daughter Anjali doesn’t eat unless she hears her voice. She explains that Anjali can neither walk nor speak and is living like a lifeless soul.
