The episode begins with Vasundhara saying that during Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi doesn’t bless everyone, even though everyone prays. She adds that only those with a pure and generous heart receive blessings. Vasundhara then announces that she has brought gifts for the Shah family.
Rahi and Anupama exchange Diwali greetings. Prem decides to take a photo of the two together after their long-awaited reunion, and Anupama insists he join them in the picture. Meanwhile, Ishani tries to show off before Raja, while Mahi searches for Gautam and catches Meeta’s attention.
Anupama wishes Vasundhara a happy Diwali. Vasundhara takes a jab at her, saying she used to be like a firecracker—always running from place to place. In response, Anupama compares Vasundhara to a rocket, making everyone smile. Later, Anupama thanks Parag for supporting the Shahs in their absence and for standing by Bharti during her operation. The Shahs warmly welcome the Kotharis.
Anupama is stunned to see Gautam arrive with them. Vasundhara explains that he has been handling their business lately. She mocks Ansh for failing to care for Hasmuk, forcing Prem to take responsibility instead.
Anil questions why Gautam doesn’t manage his own business and is so involved in the Kothari empire. Gautam calmly defends his actions. Leela jokingly tells Parag to cut off one of his arms, but Vasundhara stops her. Leela clarifies it was just a joke, and Anupama reminds everyone to keep the conversation positive on this festive day.
Rahi later apologizes to Anupama, saying her Diwali was ruined because of Gautam. Anupama encourages her to look at the brighter side. Both women fondly remember Anuj, with Anupama sharing how he adored sweets. When Rahi asks about Anupama’s first Diwali with him, she recalls how Anuj had confessed his love that very night. Rahi agrees that Anuj was truly special.
Elsewhere, Mahi apologizes to Gautam for everyone misunderstanding him. Gautam admits to making mistakes, but Mahi reassures him not to be too hard on himself. Anupama serves sweets to everyone, and Vasundhara expresses her relief that Anupama will soon return to Mumbai. She suggests that Anupama should stay there permanently. Devika overhears this and taunts Vasundhara, much to Anupama’s delight.
Devika advises Vasundhara to think before she speaks. Leela jokingly calls Devika a bomb, and Devika introduces Jaya to everyone. Anupama is overjoyed to meet Jaya again, and Devika reveals she has decided to adopt her. The entire family celebrates the heartwarming news.
Hasmuk encourages everyone to enjoy the festivities, and both the Shahs and Kotharis dance together, celebrating Diwali with joy.
However, the mood shifts when Devika suddenly feels uneasy, worrying Anupama. Devika notices the tension and asks why everyone seems upset since her arrival. Anupama admits it’s because she will soon be leaving for Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Ansh and Prarthana observe Mahi trying to get close to Gautam. Paritosh catches Ishani secretly texting Raja, while Rahi grows suspicious as she notices Prem constantly on his phone.
